Prompt shipping. Easy to assemble although, curious design elements. Hex head bolts with an Alan Head in the center. Later discovered that no socket would fit snug, english or metric. One leg missing from pedestal I can only assume to keep the package smaller. The missing leg "snaps" into place with no fastener and not exactly a snug fit. Lumbar massage....meh. Seat tilts slightly forward which is annoying but not a complete deal breaker. Even on the least amount of tension on the seat adjuster, it takes an incredible amount of effort to get the seat to lean back "only slightly" and it then snaps right back to it's original position. On to gaming. After about a week, I noticed that there was play in both the seat and the arms. Not unusual to have to snug things up after assembly. As previously mentioned, the bolts did not have tolerances that would allow for any socket to fit snuggly so I resorted to the Allen Wrench. As I suspected, bolts had worked themselves a little loose, no problem. In the process of making these adjustments, the "snap on" leg fell off. Closer inspection showed that small pieces of plastic had broken off inside and had to be removed in order to reattach the leg. This time, the leg snapped on quite snug. As a precaution to prevent it from falling off while in use, I had to permanently attach it to the chair. The issues I had with this chair are consistent with comments made by other reviewers so it appears that my problems with the chair are not unique. The chair looks great, serves it's purpose and with the exception of the forward lean of the seat, is very comfortable. This is only one week in so, time will tell. Initial impression almost THREE STARS. Knowing what I know, would I buy it? Maybe, but not at that price point. ... show more

I bought this gaming chair July of last year as I moved to a new apartment. It was easy to assemble and has been awesome to use throughout the year. I really like the massage cushion that helps when my back hurts and has been overall super comfortable. I had some issues with the gas lift getting slanted but the customer service has been great and fast at responding. Overall a great chair with a great customer service. I liked that this chair had a higher height so that my knees aren't bent too far. The back support is good. The only thing that I would say is not what I expected is the arm rests. They wiggle a great deal. If those were solid I would give the chair a 5.

I bought this chair for gaming and for working at home full time. It was very easy to put together. I've had this chair for several weeks now and I can say that this is a chair worth the money. I purchased the pink one and I adore its style. This is definitely an upgrade from a standard office chair and I won't be going back. For starters, my fiance owns a Secret Lab gaming chair (for those who don't know, that is THE most expensive gaming chair on the market). I'm able to directly compare this chair to the Secret Lab. The price on this is less than half of a Secret Lab chair, which already is a bonus. I wanted something more within budget and for 180 dollars this is already a great deal. As for the chair itself? I've made a list below: Pros: Comfy upholstery. It really feels high-end and looks so cute in my office! Adjustable/removable lumbar support. It's a neat little pillow but I don't really use it. I removed it immediately. The massage function is nice to use every once in and while, and I must say, it is powerful. I'm grateful that you can easily remove it! The retractable footrest is a game changer!! This turns the chair into something to lounge in, perfect for gaming with a controller or for long zoom meetings. I love it so much. It's very comfy! I can sit in this for hours on end, and after work, tilt it back to play games in it. The comfort is absolutely there!! Cons: There's little adjustability for the armrests. You can move them up and down and rotate them on 3 points, but I would love more height for them. They definitely feel too short for me. The neck pillow moves around a lot. I have to adjust it every time I lay back. Like I said above, the lumbar pillow didn't work for me so I simply removed it. I do have to say this chair is probably a little too short for me. I am 5'4" and I do wish the armrests and the neck pillow could go higher. I might just have a longer torso. This issue is a little annoying but not a deal breaker. Compared to a Secret Lab chair, the Secret Lab definitely wins in comfort and adjustability (it's a 400 dollar chair, so I would expect it to). But this is honestly a fantastic budget option that has both comfort and style fitted into its price. I recommend this chair to anyone looking for a better chair within a budget. ... show more

    • Definitely for beginners/new to gaming
I purchased the purple and black version for my girlfriend and the pictures on Amazon make it look real good. After taking the time to assemble, which wasn't bad at all, upon first sit down I noticed like a natural forward tilt. I fiddled with all kinds of things, just didn't feel good to me. It was practically the same chair just different "brand" as she already had, even down to the colored plastic on the legs and the plastic "rim" style for the wheels. Also noticed some pretty bad wobble from the cylinder, I was not pleased with that. Everytime I raised and lowered the arm rests, I could feel something catching on to the inner springs or something in there. The foot rest was decent, but that forward lean makes it feel awkward, the whole rotating thing threw me off a bit, but is kind of clever. I managed to catch this on a discount, $160 instead of the normal $250. Personally I feel this chair is worth no more than like 100 dollars. I do not think I will spend the time to disassemble and repackage for a return. I've gone ahead and ordered her a Secret Labs chair since I have one and it's rock solid. My girlfriends favorite color is purple and that's pretty much the reason why I chose this over a SL chair. Tl;dr. Perfect for a early teen or child new to gaming and such, definitely not worth the price though. ... show more
