Description

Hundreds of years after the battle for the red soil of Earth Prime, humans colonized the Blue Planet. The Outers – people born with special abilities caused by exposure to the unique energy resource Femto – grew resentful of their mistreatment by humanity on this new and dangerous planet. They seized control of the Gardens, orbital defense satellites, where they rule the planet below with military might as the Sovereign Axiom. As the humans on the planet’s surface struggle to survive against the elements and a race of organic-mechanical creatures known as Immortals, a resistance organization called the Reclaimers has appeared to challenge the Axiom’s brutal rule. When an Outer soldier crash-lands in the desert outside humanity’s largest settlement, they may become the key to turning the tide in humanity’s latest revolution.Fly into battle in your customized Arsenal in this action-packed new entry in the Daemon X Machina series, unleashing a variety of attacks tailored to your playstyle. Feel the exhilaration of fast-paced combat as you freely explore a deadly and dangerous open world on land or in the air. Collect weapons and equipment from fallen foes, and upgrade your skills to expand your options on the battlefield. Suit up for a dark sci-fi story where you can face the titanic boss battles alone or with up to two other players online. New and veteran Daemon X Machina players alike will find a worthy adventure here. Full ROM on Game Card

  • Nice
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Standard Edition
Great quality on the purchase. Complete in box, great price. The game itself could be better. But the product as a whole I would say is worth it.

  • Fast paced Mecha action!
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Standard Edition
I also have this on ps5, but wanted to get this for switch 2 because I like playing in handheld (initially preordered for switch 2 but Gamestop messed up my preorder). I have over 25+ hours into this game and im loving it! Such a big improvement over the first game! Melee combat is really satisfying now, shotguns and assault Rifle's are still lacking sadly.. why cant they made shotguns better? Spread is wild.. why cant we get a fast firing assault!? Instead of a pee shooter. Luckily there are tons if weapon's to choose from! Also good choice's for armor! I love the new story, its pretty cool having a group to focus on, scrimmage boss battles first working up to the real thing! (You will see!) its still really grindy but thats ok, a lot to explore as there are different biomes, yes no loading in!!!! Its all open!! Fast travel as well! Thats pretty much all I got thus far just know combat is fun! Always something to do like improve your arsenal! My first run will be solo but than ill help the new players in coop! Highly recommend if you are a Mecha fan! I will note that switch 2 version crashed on me once! Handheld is not that bad with some frame drops but absolutely playable! Ps5 never once crashed on me but still gets frame drops only when picking up items oddly enough.. its weird! ... show more

  • The series had potential, this game doesn't
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Standard Edition
Boring. Idk how you make mechs boring but somehow they did. I liked the first game. This sequel is mechanically similar but they added THE most boring open world. The mech fighting action is broken up by super boring open world quests and gathering/collectibles. The open world just makes it so you have to pay attention to your femto a lot more which is a drag. It also encourages you to use a faster mech so it doesn't take forever to get around. I prefer to play with a heavy mech so I can use heavy weapons since anything else feels like BB guns, but I suffer from being slow. Melee weapons are the only other good weapons, but again you'll probably want to be fast. Light mechs sadly can't equip very much gear so they are super weak comparatively. Most of the time only being able to use 2 weapons and weaker sub weapons. From my experience you need more weapons or you will run out of ammo before anything dies. The ability and attachment systems are incomprehensible. Gaining new abilities is too RNG to be fun. The attachments are way too many and each one scales different with different equipment it seems. You almost have to go through each piece of gear with each attachment to see what's good or what literally does nothing... ... show more

  • From Armored Core to Iron Man-Monster Hunter. Plays Great!
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Standard Edition
The first Daemon x Machina was already interesting when I first heard of it, but when I finally played it, I couldn't help but find the story and presentation pretty disjointed in the beginning. This feels like a reboot and gets you personally invested right off the bat. As a plus, the character creator's pretty extensive, and the models look really good. The suits we pilot vary in style, but they all have a solid look, and customization is extensive, too. On the Switch 2, this plays solidly. Graphics may not be as sharp as other systems and frame rates may be around 30-45, but honestly, the graphics aren't all that sharper on things like the PS5 or the Steam Deck. The frame rate's the only major difference, and the Switch 2 performance makes things feel more cinematic, which I think it a plus. ... show more
