    • Fantastic follow-up to the Original Switch! Larger and clearer screen and fast gameplay!
I bought the original switch back in 2017 and started playing it a lot but gradually realized it wasn't quite as much fun as I had hoped, with the less-clear screen than my TV and a smallish screen. But Nintendo engineers have done a great job with Switch2! The larger, higher-resolution screen of the device were immediately a huge hit with me and made playing even original Switch games more fun. The faster, better processor makes more complex games possible and it also makes for overall smoother gameplay. It still feels great in my hands, the way the original switch did, and the joycons are great. Hooking it to a TV is truly breathtaking and far outshines the original switch's capabilities in that regard! BUT be warned, your older micro-SD card which you may have used to expand the storage on the original Switch can NOT be used with Switch2! You need a very special microSD card which was developed by Samsung specifically to work with the Switch2, creating a newer faster microSD standard. It works very well, but it is pricier than the same size microSD-XC card. It MUST be a microSD-EXPRESS P9 card. If you make that purchase in addition to the Switch2 you will have lots of room for more games. Be sure to follow the instructions on the Switch2 card when you insert the microSD-EXPRESS card because you have to update the system to use that card AND you have to tell the Switch2 what sort of data you want on the microSD-EXPRESS card. You can store whole games but you have tell the Switch2 to do that. The Switch2 has a USB-C port on the top and on the bottom and they both work for charging, so you can put the cable in either one and keep on playing. The kickstand on the Switch2 is much more stable than the one on the original Switch and I've found that even for playing it handheld while sitting on the couch using the kickstand to help support the device can be helpfu. All in all I am very glad I made this purchase -- Mario Kart World is a fun game but most importantly the Switch2 is an excellent handheld gaming device! ... show more

Got this bundle for Christmas and it was so easy to port over all our games, profiles and data from our old Switch. We can use our old Switch controllers and peripherals and of course the games, which honestly sold me because the controllers are more expensive than the old ones. This bundle came with Mario Kart World and it is a BLAST! So many classic features, tracks a d characters done in a pretty open world concept. My kids even occasionally beat me whereas they never could on earlier Mario Kart iterations lol This was a very easy upgrade and so glad we purchased it! ... show more

Mario Kart on the Switch 2 absolutely delivers. The graphics are noticeably sharper and smoother compared to the previous version, with more detailed tracks and better lighting that really make each race feel alive. Load times are faster, and everything just feels more polished overall. The gameplay is what you’d expect—in the best way. It keeps that classic Mario Kart feel that’s easy to pick up but still competitive enough to keep you coming back. The controls are tight, whether you’re playing handheld or on the TV, and the new features (tracks, modes, or tweaks depending on your version) add just enough freshness without messing with what already works. Multiplayer is where it really shines. Whether you’re playing locally or online, it’s still one of the most fun and chaotic party games out there. Just get it. The screen is big and nice, really good battery life. I just wish there were more girly covers as it’s just black but you can get a case to fix that issue like I did. Excellent quality and easy to use.

I’m extremely happy with this Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle. The console arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. Setup was quick and easy, and the performance is a noticeable upgrade from the previous Switch — smoother gameplay, faster loading times, and better graphics. Mario Kart World is a blast right out of the box and perfect for both kids and adults. It’s great for family game nights, and the controls are very responsive. The Joy-Cons feel solid and comfortable, and the screen looks sharp whether docked or handheld. Overall, this bundle is an excellent value and totally worth the price.     • So far so good
I want to preface this with if you want to transfer from your switch one to your switch two you have to have your switch one with you to do that immediately. I was traveling and had this sent to a friend’s house and wanted to make sure that the switch two worked correctly… and since I did that it completely messed things up for me to transfer everything from my switch one. That being said, I was able to wipe my switch one after I transferred my virtual game cards to the switch two. A pain in the neck, but I didn’t lose my progress so that’s good. OK, so about the actual switch 2. The frame rate is a bit better in games, such as age of calamity and age of imprisonment. Which one seemed to lose his brains sometimes when I had crazy battles in age of imprisonment and the switch two seems to take that better. I have friends who play Fortnite on the switch 2, and they say that it has been monumentally improved. I’m going to give that a try myself, but given its performance so far I would say that that’s a fair statement. I like how the joy cons basically click off instead of slide off the main console. It just feels smoother and doesn’t give me the vibe that it’s something that might break as easily as the other joy cons. Obviously I haven’t played long enough to find out whether or not we’re going to be played with joy con drift. Hopefully Nintendo has fixed that. I would say that the hardware in general is better and that if you want to upgrade from your regular switch, switch Lite, or switch OLED, go for it! I know some people are talking about waiting to see if the switch two is improved upon but I would just go ahead and get this. Like the switch 2 literally came out at the end of last year… I really doubt Nintendo is going to give a switch 2 pro anytime soon ... show more
