Exceeded my expectations. It's a nice size compared to the Switch 1. The screen is nice and bright colors are excellent, does the job but not nicer than the Switch Oled imo. Eshop loads quicker than the previous Switch which was one of my issues. Games load quicker. It's not a mind blowing console like the PS5 or Xbox Series X but the games look way better than the previous Switch and it's definitely a good upgrade. Nintendo has always been behind Sony and Microsoft's consoles but you're not buying the Switch 2 for crazy graphics or mind blowing Fps, you're buying it for Nintendo's excellent first party games. I was unsure about upgrading from my original launch version of the Switch 1 when the Switch 2 debuted. It is so worth it. Games on the Switch 2 vs the Switch 1 look so much better, load much faster, supports fast internet speeds with no lag, and offer games the Switch 1 cannot run such as Cyberpunk 2077. It also feels like playing a new game when playing Switch 1 games on it! NOTE!! Neither of these 2 cautions I mention below are worth removing a star from its rating. This is a great gaming system. I'm mentioning these "cautions" because they will possibly help a lot when first getting it setup. Please see below. CAUTION 1: When doing your system transfer from Switch 1 to Switch 2, when first turning on the Switch 2 and going through the setup, if you get a message saying to connect the AC (power) adapter, you HAVE to plug in the provided power cord from the Switch 2 (plug it into the Switch 1 if it also has the AC connect message, then unplug it and plug into the Switch 2). After that, transfer was quick and easy. CAUTION 2: Switch 2 only supports an "EX"/"ESX"? type of micro SD cards. The system already has 256GB to use though (a little less than 256GB after system memory etc). ... show more

It is such an amazing gaming system! And the deal I got for it was amazing. Black Friday deal it was 100$ off. Mario kart is too good! Can play with your friends online and it’s so much fun. The new characters on there are so cute, def so much fun! The media could not be loaded. If you are buying this as a gift for a child, you will want to open the box and start the software updates and game downloads before you wrap it. It took over 2 hours to even start playing my first game! The graphics are great and the audio is loud. I love the ability to doc it and play it on any large screen by using the removable buttons as a mini controller. I purchased this excited to play MarioKart which truly is a fun game that takes advantage of graphics. All games are downloaded but anything online required a monthly subscription. Even adults will enjoy playing games from their childhood as a part of that subscription. ... show more
