The instructions that come with this kit are very small and the print is not very large. Additionally, the instructions are written in a way that isn't clear. For example, some of the measurements seem to be incorrect, so there is extra time required to do your own math to make certain everything goes together correctly. The rail is made of several smaller pieces that fit together like a puzzle, with brackets, screws, and nuts holding them together. This is typical for barn door rails, but no matter how tightly the brackets are put together, the weight of the door pushes each joint downward when the roller goes over it. This causes the door to come to a rest on that joint.

I was on the fence with this, my husband said it would get the job done for what we needed it for. When putting the rail together I thought no way was this going to work because it was so floppy but when mounted it worked. We used it on our greenhouse built the door and mounted and to my surprise works excellent!! Needless to say my husband proved me wrong about you get what you pay for. Not all together sure it could hold a solid wood door but light doors it will work

Hardwares quality and track system concept is reasonably however, when put to the test a sectional track system does not hold up. The track rocks back and forward as the barn door moves over the track. Unfortunately, if you don’t know this you will end up replacing the system with a solid one piece track and have to drill more holes in the barn door; for new rollers Save yourself the trouble and buy a solid track barn door hardware kit.
