UPDATE... OMG! This bike is so awesome. Finally got the controls figured out and holy cow. Haven't had this much fun since I was a kid. I recommend this bike to anyone wanting to get an e-bike. In fact I think I've already got my neighbor sold on one. Great job Dakeya.. Well done!

I had to take the bike to a local shop the day I u. Over it and spend another $200 to get the wheels adjusted and trued because they were so bad off I couldn’t finish building it. I rode it maybe 5 times and it lost power and had an electrical fire smell. 2 days past it’s 30 day return eligibility, the Dakeya email for customer service says invalid, the Chinese number gets you no one. Basically got robbed of $1600 ... show more

UPDATE: I meant to update this review some time ago, because of traveling and other things I'm only getting around to it now. Once we provided a couple more pictures, they sent the appropriate part to us, and also offered to cover the cost of anything extra we might need to change out the part, up to $100. We didn't need to take them up on it, but it was a very nice gesture on their part and greatly appreciated. My husband has been very much enjoying the bike. My husband purchased this bike with excitement to have a 21-speed mountain bike, with dual hub motors. Unfortunately, the rear hub assembly was damaged. The first time he tried to climb a hill with the bike he felt the sprocket slipping. He nearly fell off the bike. We provided Dakeya with photos and video evidence of the damaged/defective product. They requested additional information, which we provided. Now we have not heard from them in a week even though we emailed them several more times asking for an update. All we requested from them was to send a replacement for the defective part. Very disappointed, I do not recommend this seller. ... show more

Got this on Prime Day for a fantastic deal and this thing is amazing. Just did a nice 5 mile trip and the battery didn’t budge. Plenty of power for the hills of Pennsylvania and even went through some mud comfortably. Would highly suggest it.
