I got this for my fiancée as I have one for my SUV and I wanted to get her one to keep her safe and protected. She was recently in an accident, someone turned left in front of her at a light, and the other person was 100% at fault. She didn’t have a dash cam at that time but luckily someone saw everything and served as a witness. Had she had a dash cam, the video would have been proof enough that she was not at fault. We came across this option and all we can say is wow, this is a pretty awesome dash cam, so much better than the one I have! Set up was a breeze, although the installation instructions were pretty vague but easy enough to follow. Downloaded the app and loved all the options that can be changed within the app. This cam has a huge touch screen which you can easily maneuver to change all the settings. The video quality of both cameras is top notch and we loved that this option had an inside rear camera as some install on the outside of the vehicle which I did not want for her. The front mounted camera can be moved in many different directions while the one I have did not give an option to move left or right. A great feature I noticed is the option to change the display mode and it stays that way when you turn it on. You can choose either camera or options for both whereas the one I have doesn’t have this option as I need to change to the setting I want each time. This cam also gives you an option to have a screen saver (or not) and even has voice controls, perfect for hands free options while driving. The one thing I do not like about these dash cams (in general) is that they connect via Wi-Fi which means that your phone can not connect to the internet to play online music or even use some GPS options. I did notice in the ad that there is a GPS feature in the app but as much as I tried to find this option, I could not find this, but not a big deal for us. We would highly recommend this option and while I was charged full price for this unit, I now show its 10% off and offers a $30 off coupon, a savings of $45 bucks, so buy it now, for the price point, you will not be disappointed!

This was pretty easy to set up and use. The picture quality is great, and I really like that I can sync it up to my phone to change settings and transfer videos and photos, and sync time. My last dash cam would occasionally lose hours at a time. You can see live footage on your phone from the dash cam, which seems a little pointless since you have to be close enough to be on the camera's WiFi, but is still a nice option. I attached a picture taken from the dashcam of a storm front that came through to show the quality of the picture, and the coordinates are spot on. As far as the 4 star instead of 5; The voice commands don't always work. It may be due to road noise, radio, or defroster, which is understandable to a point- but when you are going to need them the most is when you're busy driving, possibly requiring the defroster, or could be when there is a lot of external noise. I had an issue with my camera that I thought could be something minor (turns out it was), so I e-mailed the company directly. It's been days and I have not received anything back. I wound up contacting Amazon instead and had a replacement shipped, only to find out I missed a small detail that the company could have helped me out with. The last couple nit-picks are: it doesn't come with a suction cup option for attachment. I'm a little wary of adhesives possibly not holding when in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. I would have preferred the USB and rear camera to connect to the base instead of directly to the camera. It would have made taking the camera out quick, in case you wanted to bring it in for security or transfer to a PC. Overall, it's a very good camera with really good features. Just a couple issues that are relatively minor compared to the positives of the camera itself.

I really wasn't expecting much from this as most small dash cams have left me unimpressed but this one actually seems to be decent quality. The installation is simple and easy as well as the quality of the product. It doesn't feel like a cheap plastic camera but actually well made. The picture quality is also decent. The instructions can be a little difficult to understand but it is doable once you figure everything out. This comes with everything you need to get you set up and going. The screen is large and there is also an app that can be used which is another bonus to this camera but you do need to be connected to wifi to access it with the app. So many features make this a great product for the price.
