Attractive unit, doesn't take up too much space, connections are secure, adjustments are simple. Sounds great - plenty of power, good detail and separation - and as class D it doesn't heat up or draw too much current. My only very small gripe has to do with the fact that I had to install the unit transversely at the back of my trunk, which makes seeing those adjustments on the left side difficult. These D’amore amps are very very nice amps at any price. Very clean power, puts out every bit of its rated RMS with a little head room on top, but the absolute best part is the efficiency. Some of us want to improve the audio in our higher end cars without doing “the big 3” upgrades or taxing the electrical systems. I certainly am not adding another battery or alternator to my BMW M3, just not gonna happen. These amps are so efficient you can get impressive power (within reason of course) without having to hack the cars electrical system up for upgrades. The current draw on the 750.1 I’m using on 1 10” Q series L7 at 1 ohm is under 70 amps while driving the crap out of that little kicker 10. Forget the fact they are an amazing value, they are just great amps. Thanks D’amore!!! I’m so impressed I went ahead and ordered the 1000.1 to try out in place of the 750.1 just to see how much power I can get without needing electrical upgrades. ... show more

I can't get the 5th channel to do anything. I've sent D'amore 2 emails and given at least a week for response time on each of them and haven't heard back diddly. I had it for the 3 months before installing, so I missed my return window. I'm pretty sure it was an Amazon return because it was missing the manual and mounting hardware and spare fuses. I'm pretty pissed at D'Amores customer service for not even answering questions about it. That's pretty crappy customer service from a company that's supposed to be upper end. I guess I'll stick with CT Sounds. VERY dissappointed with D'Amore. UPDATE 5/5/23: About a week after my initial review, D'amore finally sent me an email saying they would need to look at the amp. I sent it back to them and after a couple weeks, they sent an email with a tracking number saying they are sending a new amp. I received the new one a few days later and installed it. All is okay with new one. Good amp for a decent system in a car. Seems to be very efficient and has good sound quality. I'm changing from 2 to 4 stars. Only 4 because I think you can get a comparable amp for a lot less money. ... show more

Absolutely AMAZING considering the low current draw and the compact size! I just hooked mine up this morning. Then I literally ordered ANOTHER ONE immediately. I hooked this one up to my two 12 inch one ohm RF subs. This amplifier rocked them both with solid continuous energy tantamount to my previous 6500 watt Soundstream amplifier (see pics) but the D'amore amplifier is MUCH CLEANER, no distortion at high volume.... Can't wait to receive the second D'amore amplifier! In my opinion these D'amore amplifiers are the best mass-produced amplifiers in the world. If power draw and/or space are a concern, buy THIS AMPLIFIER. You will be pleasantly surprised. ... show more

Currently have (2) RF Punch 100ix amps from the 90s. Nothing wrong with my current setup, but figured I'd give this 4 channel a try so I can use my Pioneer in active mode to take full advantage of the head unit's abilities. Pulled the amp running my Infinity 6.5" components and put this e400.4 in. Once all connected and buttoned up, I turned everything on and received a high pitched squeal, then silence. After further troubleshooting I found that channel 3 was the only functional channel. Channels 1 and 2 have zero output, while channel 4 only outputs a loud hiss when the RCA is connected. I had high expectations but those were dashed, causing serious doubts with the e750.1 I ordered from the manufacturer website that will arrive in a couple days. Debating whether to just return this for my $ back or replace with another. I now question the quality control and longevity if I do receive a functional amp. Keep in mind, I'm coming from some 30 year old amps that were the bees knees in my car audio installer days. Looks like they might still be better than the brand new offerings of today.
