Be careful what you connect this too. This amp does not play. I advise to have big three done prier to installing (will clip if at 13.4 with vehicle running) second battery a plus, this amp means business

When I received my order of course excited. I opened up the packaging and it had looked like one of the plastic that wraps the amp was tampered with and the clip indicator was damaged. Thought nothing of if since the amp looked good hooked it up when I got a chance which was like the next day I tuned the amps later that night. Just liked I had hoped everything was going great fast forward 2–3 weeks later with about 4-6 hrs of play time I go to start my truck and I hear a loud pop and smoke coming out on of the amps luckily I caught it or who knows what could have happen. Now my amp is fried and into protect just one amp two are still fine. ... show more

Gets stupid loud but it consumes ALOT of power. Can burb probably 12k but just make you sure have the charging system and the battery reserve to run this amp. Im running 2 1000cca conventional batteries and a 800cca battery and it acts like they aren't there. Truck is ran in 1/0 oversized ofc. The big 7. ... show more

The mounting plastic on one corner was damaged during shipping like it had been dropped. Hooked up and works very well. After researching this item..... It very well makes my subs hit so hard. The vehicle flex and air pressure is amazing.

had this amp for more than a month now and it seems to be holding up but i have some complaints i’d like to list. First off the gain knob is very loose and turns with almost 0 resistance as for the rest of the crossover options they are perfectly fine Secondly the fan seems to have gotten louder over the time i’ve had the amp. I had a smart 5 bass before this amp and i would have got the big boss 8 if i knew the fans on the non smart amp would stay on all the time unlike the smart amps the fans turn off when not needed. overall id invest the few more bucks in the smart 8 bass or big boss 8. id return this and get either of those if i still could but im out of return now. ... show more
