Far exceeded my expectations. You will need upgraded electrical. Do NOT run on stock electrical or it will lead to problems. This amp easily pushes Xv3 15" 2000Watt Subwoofers at 1 ohm without issues. With proper electrical, this amp far exceeds the power rating, low frequency, and has a decent clip light for protection. A good amp for stepping into beginner SPL.

So far these Smart 8k amps are amazing. The power per dollar is incredible. By fine tuning the rca input voltage, I was able to get 130vac output, clean. That's amazing for an 8k amp. That is almost the same output I was able to get from the Powerus pw15k amps , I used to run. And WAY more than I ever got with the standard Bass 8k, or MD 8k amps. Don't forget to buy the remote clipping monitor also. They don't come with these amps any longer. See y'all out at the shows .... Boominburban out ....

First of all. No rookie here. I got 2 Smart 8ks 1-2ohm version. These Amps push some pressure! That’s a fact! I had 2 MD 8ks and by far these Smart 8ks are on a different type of ball game! Gain matched and tuned and these things got a lot of pressure built in them! Each amp is Wired @ .7ohm per sub! Got the juice to back both these amps up! 💪🏽 more updated reviews coming soon Update: 03/2024 Amps got me 2Dbs louder. First place took home. These amps are put to work daily. No matter the situation such as crusing, competing, or shutting down that annoying Tahoe on 28s in the streets 😮💨 Game changer for real Update 07/2024 I’m still beating on these amps. Connected an epicenter along with two of these smart 8ks and it sounds lovely! Amps are doing what they are supposed to even in the heat, they still keep cool. Update: 12/2024 Smashing the streets, cruising to beats. It’s still going strong no problems at all.

Made the move to the Smart8 from a Smart5 running a pair of U18’s Is there a noticeable difference? Absolutely. Is the cost difference worth it? Absolutely. Especially considered it’s only a little over $100 more vs the smart 5. Signal is fed via miniDSP c-dsp 6x8, running on 214ah lithium phosphate and stock 220a alt. Can’t say anything negative.
