great pack. holds just enough in the right places.side pockets for keys , sunglasses, phone, etc. Cinches up tight. loosens fast to spin around. feels great to wear. Have hiked and cross-country skied with it. holds just about any size bottle. Wish it still came with the water bottles, they look like a nice light and small size. Be careful with water bottle weight. the pack gets heavy real fast. everything about this pack is quality. Glad I could afford it.

I purchased this waist pack for long exercise treks, as it holds two water bottles—comfortably—and has the perfect number, and placement, of compartments. The side compartments are perfect for smartphones/music players, wallets, keys, etc, and the two back compartments are great sizes for larger items, including a rain jacket, with a small “shove-it” like space for additional gear. Now, while I absolutely love this pack for the purpose for which I bought it, I discovered that it doubles as the ultimate travel accessory, worn in front while using a travel-sized backpack as a carry-on. The waist pack is perfect for having travel documents, wallets, headphones, etc. at the ready when you need them, and in a super comfortable way.

I use this Osprey bum bag when biking. I have other Osprey back packs, so I am familiar with their quality. The two main compartments hold everything I carried in a string back pack plus two water bottles: spare tube, riding glasses, gloves and more. Either zippered side pocket can securely fit a 3 1/2 by 7 inch phone. The waist fit is adjustable and even when stuffed with gear and two full water bottles on board, the pack does not bounce during riding. Water bottles can be drawn for a drink and replaced easily while riding. Has the great stitching and construction quality known in Osprey products. Big upgrade from the string pack I was using. What I like less: Except for the key clip, there is no organization in the main compartments. If you carry a lot of little stuff, you will have to dig around in the main compartments to find it. Though it is an quality Osprey product, I think the price point is little high for this particular item. The fit and profile are good and the bag performs as promised. May even take the Talon 6 on my next vacation. UPDATE: This bag did well during my summer bike riding trips. Even after sweating, (my back sweats a lot during hard rides) the bag stayed high on my back and did not sag. I think the bag's venting system helped with that. Sometime you do get what you pay for; the Talon 6 proves that.

I've had the Osprey Talon 6 for 5 years now. It is great storage and I do mountain biking with it two times a week. Only know I think I used it almost 300 times. 2 weeks ago the Buckle broke. I sent an email to Osprey and got a new buckle and a belt in 4 days. Now I actually have two bags but I'm happy that they bought another one and contribute to this amazing company with amazing customer support. Other than that the bag is really comfortable and you can do mountain biking running and other sport while wearing it. I would highly recommend it

Great pack. Awesome for fishing in rivers and being light. But beware!!!! No bottles are included even though they say so. I went back and forth with Amazon they just kept sending the pack with no bottles.

This is a great pack - I'd expect nothing less from Osprey. Not sure why it's classified as men's, I'm a woman and will be using it just fine. Need to find two water bottles that fit - as it didn't come with them (as other reviews had mentioned). No problem though. I love this pack.
