    • Fantastic Strings!

Bright sound and easy to play - not stiff. All 4 strings have a nice “presence.”

    • NYXL is awesome
Size: Medium, 50-105 Style: Long Scale, 4-String
Really love these. I bought the medium gauge by accident but they really sound great even a week after a full gig. They have a richness that’s hard to describe. Will probably keep buying these for my G&L SB-1.

    • Not bad, not great
Size: Medium, 50-105 Style: Long Scale, 4-String
As a newer bass player, I had always used Ernie Ball strings or whatever was cheap. Now that I’m performing weekly and practicing 4 days per week, I figured it was time to step up to a better string. There isn’t as much of a difference in the other similar strings I’ve used, but I am going to be looking for a custom string setup. The E and A strings are nice, the D string is nice until you get past the 12th feet, and the G string sounds like it’s made of tin. Maybe it’s the strings, maybe it’s the bass, but I’ve used better strings and I’ve used worse. I’d buy them again if I needed some strings quick, but these aren’t my preference. ... show more

    • AS EXPECTED
Size: Medium, 50-105 Style: Long Scale, 4-String
I occasionally break strings so these are my backup, just in case. There for a vintage Fender Jazz and a Ric 4001.

    • Great strings
Size: Medium, 50-105 Style: Long Scale, 4-String
If you like the tone of these strings right out of the box they you are all set for a while. A lot of string sound bright for the first while and then tame down after a bit. These are not the brightest sounding strings, but I would say their tone is extremely consistent over a very long time. I probably change these out about once a year. I'm a hobby player that plays anywhere between 4-8 hours per week on them. ... show more

    • Nice mids, loud
Size: Medium, 50-105 Style: Long Scale, 4-String
Killer strings! Nice mids, loud, and bends on the second fret are better than I expected. They're really smooth too for being roundwounds. I play drop C with pretty low action. They stay in tune super well and have really good tension. These strings really do deliver on what they promise.
