The built-in WiFi bridge adds out-of-home remote control for your lighting and devices for convenience and peace of mind. This smart plug is Matter Compatible with the ability to directly connect to leading smart home apps such as, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, and Apple Home for hands-free voice control. The plug also enables custom scheduling and scene setting to traditional bulbs and devices. Automatically set schedules to turn devices on and off reducing energy consumption. I use Google Home and I was able to scan and add it right into Google Home. No need for another app and another account. Took less than 2 minutes, which includes the time it took me to get it out of the bubble wrap packaging it was shipped in. This is the second one I've gotten since the first is working so well. These solved a networking problem for me. I discovered a very active traffic source on my home network that I traced to a cheap smart plug. After doing some research I decided that best quality was in the higher priced, better known brands. I replaced the cheap smart plug that was my problem network source with one of these and the network traffic dropped to nearly zero with the same functionality from this smart plug as I had with the cheap one I replaced. These are the only smart plugs I've used but have had a good enough experience with Cync and these, I'm satisfied. The only note I'd have would be to make sure the footprint of this isn't too big or bulky for your outlet needs. Integration with Cync and in my case, Alexa, is pretty easy to setup and control. The plugs though a little bulky compared to some other alternatives, securely plug in. The single function manual on/off button on the side is accessible, and status LED make them minimalist but very much usable. ... show more

These smart plugs don't work well. They keep dropping out of the network and won't reconnect. We've tried everything under the sun with no success. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. These are a big headache and not worth the time and aggravation. Don't bother trying to look for fixes on the Internet. None of these work so don't waste your time. No matter what we did the plugs won't reconnect on the network through the app on our phone. They worked for a couple of weeks before dropping out of the network. I plugged mine into a 240V outlet meant for my apartment cool air/heater and it blew sparks out the prong holes for obvious reasons. I almost burned my apartment up trying to make my heater smart. I still bought two more for my Air Purifier and Hot Water Kettle. I just wish they had Bluetooth. I sign up for internet service and then cancel them after the trials or getting the free gift. I sometimes don't have WiFi. Me and my 95GB of 5G/LTE are ample for my bachelor apartment needs. ... show more
