  • An excellent asset for gaming and beyond
Style: 14700KF/RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
I recently acquired this PC and it has swiftly become an essential ally for both gaming and productivity. Let's delve into the highlights and potential areas for enhancement. Pros: * Powerful Hardware * Great Performance * Quiet Operation * Sleek Design * User-Friendly Cons * Cost. BUT considering its features, the price is ABSOLUTELY REASONABLE. * No extra fans. This computer is best suited for: * Gamers. * Content creators and those who work with of demanding applications like CAD software or video editing programs. ... show more

  • First impression (the rating may be corrected after I use it for a while).
Style: 14700KF/RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
Take this review with a grain of salt as I opened the case a few hours ago. This is only my first impression. Usually, I don't review items before I get a good use of them, and I write this only to get $10 gift card from CyberPowerPC (they never said the review must be 5-star to get it, so...) The computer came double boxed. The outer one was slightly damaged in shipping, but it was so huge that the internal box wasn't affected at all. The computer tower is very large and has a glass side that, IMO, is ridiculous (no they cannot sell you a metal panel). In reality, it's an ASUS computer with PNY GPU in a very large (and completely undocumented) case marked "CyberPowerPC." Most of the inside space is empty, which might not be bad, especially, if you're going to to exploit GPU to its full heat producing capacity (I'm not). There are multiple fans, and all of them have LED lights, so the computer looks like a Christmas tree. Do I like it? Well, let's be polite. Since it's April already, I started looking for a way to turn the lights off. The procedure is not described anywhere, and a common suggestions to either use BIOS settings or the LED mode button don't turn the Christmas lights off. The most ridiculous thing that came with the machine and must be used if you want to connect through Wi-Fi is an "a'la 60th" Wi-Fi antenna connected with a 2-ft wire. Do you remember the ancient TV sets with antenna on the top? That's it! This is how they combined a modern computer with a nostalgic piece of memorabilia. I don't want to get into details of the "game keyboard" and "game mouse" that came with the machine. Nauseating moving LED lights, illegible keyboard lettering unless you look at the keys straight down at 90 degree angle (I yet to see a typist keeping keyboard next to his belly or bend forward) and clunky mouse is what they are. In case you think they are wireless, think again. So both of them are going to pollute our enronment starting tomorrow. But the main thing is if the computer computes, isn't it? Well, this is something that I'm not yet ready to discuss. So far it appears to be fast and responsive. I'm sure that for my purposes (3D modeling and work with CT images, it should be more than sufficient based on the very impressive specs. I'm not a gamer or a teenager any longer. As you can see from what I wrote, I'm an old grumpy man and cannot even appreciate the beauty of the Christmal tree design. I guess I'm supposed to like the antenna, but, for some reason, it's not something I feel nostalgic about. Now back to the Christmas tree decorating with software. So long! EDIT: It's been a few days after I got the computer. By now I have replaced keyboard and mouse with a Logitec MK470 wireless combo. What a dramatic difference! I also threw away the antique antenna and installed two directly attached sticks (a'la Wi-Wi modem or Wi-Fi network card of this century). I adjusted settings, installed a few programs and played with the PC a bit longer. This machine is VERY fast and more responsive responsive comparing with all older i7 PCs I have. So, I am increasing my rating from 3 to 4-star. I, finally, figured out how to turn the LEDs off: just press and hold the "M" button on top of the case: there are two buttons there that, apparently, change LEDs pattern, etc. It would be nice to have a description instead of experimenting with them. As for the longevity and reliability of the computer components, this is something that will take time (hopefully, VERY long time) to judge. Meanwhile, I'll be installing more software, additional SSD or two and see how it goes. Later! ... show more

  • PC does not work
Style: 14700KF/RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
The Tower look great, the wiring looks great. However, It constantly shuts down and reboots, I have run the repair for the operating system and the thing still shuts down, Today It dropped the dreaded blue screen of death. I have had this rig for all of 5 days. I am a Old Man and a Gamer, the rig can not handle simple games. I have tried finding a way to contact the seller for a refund or replacement and have not been able to do so. Maybe by leaving this review they will reach out to me. I would not recommend buying this computer. ... show more

  • An amazing PC
Style: 14700KF/RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
Received this Cyberpowerpc yesterday and setup went perfectly with only one issue. I did have to check google to find out how to turn on the keybord lights. Other than that everything worked as it should. the unit is so quiet I have to look at the lights to make sure it is on. Moving from a 15 year old pc with an i7 2600 processor to this i7 1477kf processor is like night and day the difference. The build qualith seems exceptional and it arrived in perfect condition. For the price, features and quality of componets I would highly reccommend this unit. ... show more

  • Works great!
Style: 14700KF/RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
This is my 2nd CyberpowerPC computer. The other one I've been using is 7 years old now, and still works great with no issues. I'm giving it to my youngest sibling. It'll be the first computer he's ever owned. Upgrading the intel core and increasing the ram on it was very easy. I have a good feeling about this computer and hope it can last for years like the old one. No complaints at all. Everything runs smoothly with no issues, and the computer never gets hot. The keyboard feels nice too. ... show more

1 out of 5 lights works the other 4 don't turn on, I have checked for any loose cables or plugs but I can't see any that may not be connected. Other than the lights it seems to work ok. Anyone know how to get those lights working?

  • I dont get pc gaming
Style: 14700KF/RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
You buy a new pc and it is already warned about performance issues. You have to do all this downloading. It took hours to download battlefield 2042 on it. pc gaming is a big ol hassle and a waste of time. Ill just stick to my dino tech xbox series x.
