This is a truly incredible device. I'm probably an atypical user, in that I've got more than my share of electronics, and I'm still not really sure how to best define my use case. I've got a desktop build with a 5080, I've got a laptop with a 4070 (that I'm kind of lukewarm on), and I've got a Legion Go. I really wanted a device that had better battery life than the Go (maybe a slight bump in performance), but that didn't require all the set up of a laptop. It's a bit of a price jump relative to the other options currently available, but the performance of the device in the current market are unmatched (until the next generation of Z2E chips becomes accessible). I'd say the best comparable is probably the Ally X, which to be fair, is also a marvelous device. I chose this over the Ally, because I'd heard that MSI made up a lot of ground with their internals, and that the intel chip afforded better battery life than the Z1E. I could go on and on about this device, but genuinely, if you've got the money, and think that you're going to use it - you won't be disappointed. It is everything you might hope for from a handheld in 2025.

Once I got past all the installs, I've had pretty much smooth sailing. Downloaded 4 fairly large games and had a great time trying out fallout london. As with all pc handhelds, please maintain realistic expectations; this will run most things I've thrown at it, but you will have to drop resolution somewhat for decent frames. Ergonomics are great, battery has been about as expected and the speakers sound phenomenal, genuinely. Touchscreen has caused no issues and thumb sticks are comfy. Screen is plenty bright and sharp as well. Would recommend! Especially when it's in stock.

The gameplay is near perfect. Every game Iāve thrown at this looks amazing: Elden Ring, Clair Obscur, Helldivers, etc. while it runs so cool it feels like wizardry vs the competition. But, The software (and occasionally hardware) is a huge mess. Windows āFull Screen Experienceā is a big improvement, and āCenter Mā has made some big leaps as well, but Iāve had this thing crash more in six months than possibly any PC Iāve ever owned. Not to mention all the times Iāve tried to wake it and found it completely unresponsive. (Hold the power button for roughly 30 seconds, it will flash a bunch, let off, and tap to restart, maybe pray a little.). The number of times Iāve had to Google elaborate fixes for what one would hope would be simple problems feels almost weekly. Itās gotten a lot better, but thatās from daily when I first got it. Anyway, itās the best and worst thing Iāve ever gamed on. If it was just the good parts this would be an easy 5-stars. My one odd-complaint would be this draws a lot of attention when Iām out, of the āyou look like you have too much money, and weād like to help you with that problemā sort of attention. Thatās not fun. No one noticed my Steam Deck. That thing looks like an old Sega handheld, this looks like something ripped from the future. It discourages me from taking it out of the house some days, which defeats a big part of the purpose of having a handheld.

My absolute favorite gaming mini handheld PC ever. 5/5. Claw 7ai+ is super great !!! Dragon ball gekinshin squadra on this thing is amazing!!! The PC is super fast for msi claw 7 ai + Love it so much yay !!! Battery seems decent but could be better. I didn't want the claw 8 so my problem there because the 8 has a slightly bigger battery. Otherwise a very decent handheld gaming PC at the least. Light weight and easy to hold overall. I paid $900 and that's new with tax. It's a great value overall for the money spent. Great birthday gift for me ^_^. Thanks family and friends for the help getting this at all. I appreciate it. Also thank you amazon for having this $50 off plus in stock. Good stuff. Lol. The way it does function on wifi 6 and on windows 11 is truly great. It's the fastest handheld I've ever had. Much better than the switch 2. Very happy with the purchase. Looking forward to the msi claw series in the future -- this should hold me over for a long time!! Thanks for posting my review Amazon! Yay.

for an every day gamer, its awesome. there's a lot of videos and opinions about graphics and playability but ultimately its plays FF7 rebirth on low to mid just fine, it does stutter a little but it plays. it plays warzone, little slow on the rendering but it loads before the main part of the match, but it plays. definitely get a micro sd for extra storage and pay attention to transfer speed if you want to play off it. a little heavy but you don't notice if you in the zone. battery last awhile for mid gaming and by the time its low or dead, got do something else while its charging.

I have had the claw 8 ai+ for a month now and love it. With it being a windows device, it comes with all the pains of windows updates but that was expected. Otherwise, this thing is great! It can handle most newer games on at least medium settings. A lot of newer games will run ultra. The best part is I can use steam, xbox, gog, epic, ea, ubisoft and whatever other launchers. I get about an hour and a half when playing when not plugged in with ai settings on. I get about one hour with all settings maxed. I got a 100w charger (it comes with a 45w) and a dock to hook it up to my tv. Works fine, just make sure you have low latency (gaming mode on some tvs) turned on. It is BIG for a handheld, but that's what I wanted. But, it is strangely lightweight for how big it is. The screen is super bright and the speakers are decent. They aren't super high quality, but they are fine for gaming. Just don't expect to use it as your primary way of listening to music. Also, the 2 thunderbolt ports make it semi-futureproof. You can use those to hook up an external GPU if you want. I do wish that it came with a true users guide. There are a lot of little tips and tricks that it doesn't tell you. Such as, I had no idea the power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner! I would definitely watch some YouTube videos on features and tips for it. And as always, UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE all the software and firmware. It will run much better. Pros: great battery life, can handle most games, has all the features of a windows laptop. Cons: price, speakers, and no real user guide. Overall, if you have the money, I would recommend it.
