Really good optic for the price. I mounted it on a Glock training pistol and it fit perfectly. I am not crazy about optics with batteries that require removal from the gun to change but for a training pistol it's the perfect solution. I think the quality is good. the green dot is easy to see and bore sighting was simple. Only had it a short time so I can't speak about battery life but it has a battery saver feature so I am hopefully it lasts a good while. All in all, I happy with my choice. ... show more

I was very pleased when opening this unit. It came with tools, different mounting plates, many different sized screws and extra batteries. I mounted the unit and aligned with a laser bore. All looked good. The next day I took it to the range to test and nothing. The unit did not turn on despite manually pressing the power buttons. I tested the battery which was good. I tried another new battery of a different brand. Still nothing. I sent the unit back. ... show more

So far - so good. I mounted on an FN 509 and it has withstood the cycle abuse so far. None of the mounting screws were usable but I already had extra screws in my shop. I have had CVLIFE dots in the past and have no complaints. I really expect this to meet those standards.

This is a pretty good Green Dot, especially for the price. I have it mounted to my PSA Dagger compact. It holds zero well, but I do get a bit of a sunburst effect on the dot. That could just be my vision because I have astigmatism but not certain. I also get that effect with a different red dot which makes me suspected my eyes that are the problem. By the way, I recommend this Green Dot. The shake awake works well, it gets plenty bright, and it holds zero. What more could you ask for at a very good price? ... show more

Not sure about this choice. I was looking for a budget optic sight, the wolfcloak cost more but it doesn’t include some of the basic features the lower cost optic has. No clicking when adjusting the sight, it’s a small allen screw, not sure how well it will hold zero; battery is under, I don’t recall reading this. The optic with the battery cover does not sit well if used with the picatinny mount. I’m going to run more rounds and see how it goes. ... show more
