Bought this red dot for my semi automatic shotgun for home defense and so far it works great. Holds zero and the shake awake capability was the selling point for me. Didn't see the value in spending 100's on a red dot that I hope never gets used in a home defense situation. But at the range shooting 12 gauge ammo it has held up well. Will buy more for other shotguns in the house. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Was actually quite surprised with this little thing. Appears and feels pretty sturdy. The shake awake is really good. The part that I really like is when you turn it off it's off even if shake it; so you don't have to worry about unwittingly draining your battery in transport or storage. Having the two adapters is another great feature to have, especially when you have a fixed front sight that stands up kinda high. The only complaint I have is there is absolutely no magnification on this. Would be perfect if it was a 2x or 3x magnification. Overall I would recommend this. Not as good as my ACOG but good enough for a get home or CQB situation. ... show more

    • Good budget red dot sight
First off, I want to give a shout out to CVlife's customer service. I had an issue with the original order where the auto on/off feature does not work. It would just stay on and drain the battery. I didn't realize there was an issue until after the Amazon return window had closed. Amazon put me in touch with CVlife's customer service and a new one was sent out very quickly. The replacement works as it should and I'm happy with my purchase. I agree with the other reviews that say this is nearly identical to the Sig Romeo 5 red dot. I own a Romeo5 and they look and feel the same with the exception of the mount. I actually prefer the mount on the CVlife sight as it is lighter and better looking than the Sig's mount.
