Great boot if you can find your size! I am an adult woman with a petite frame. I ordered this boot 3 times in different sizes since I could not find my correct size. I normally wear a women’s shoe size of 5 or 6. In kids I can typically wear a 4 or 5. My first attempt, I ordered a 4.5. It was super big. My second attempt I ordered a 3.5. It was still very big. For reference, my mother who wears a size 7 in women’s could fit into the youth 3.5. My third attempt, I ordered a 3. The 3 was ok. Still loose but workable with thick socks and a shoe insert. I think I’m going to keep the 3, but next time I will definitely try a 2.5. I just got tired of going in to make a return. The boot itself looks good quality. I'm so glad I chose these little cowgirl boots instead of the Roper ones. Actually, I purchased both and decided to go with these because they were real leather--smelled so good--and were of better quality too. Rubber soled and nonslip so perfect for a little five-year-old.

My 7 year old loves them even though they were too big. I bought a half size up, as a Christmas gift, so they would make it through summer. We need snow boots here in winter, but it was the biggest request for Christmas, so I went up in size. Turned out to be way too big but she's getting her kicks in now. She wanted black to be like her hero, Chris Larabee ( Michael Biehn) but was hugely disappointed to not have a silver band or toe rand like her friend who has "REAL" cowgirl boots. I have twins that needed cowboy boots for a wedding and one always need a wide width. I worried I wouldn’t be able to find the same shoe in both regular and wide width so I was ecstatic when I found these. Then they arrived and we couldn’t be happier! These are amazing quality and worth every penny! My daughter tends to drag her toes and quickly damages the toes on shoes....not on these! They’ve held up perfectly and will be passed down to her sister and brother as they are gender neutral! Last winter I made the mistake of being cheap and buying a pair of cowboy boots at Walmart since my daughter outgrow these . After 1 winter the toes are badly damaged and the heel has a Hooke. This winter, I’ll spend the extra to purchase these boots again as I know they’ll last and remain looking great! Also, when we first ordered my daughter hit a growth spurt between receiving them and the wedding and I was able to easily and quickly return and order a size up! Very pleased customer!
