Looks to be genuine Cutco item. Certainly appears identical to my Cutco knives I've had since the early 1950's, except the edge is a new style, something called Double-D, a serrated style. Time will tell if it cuts as well as my nearly 70 year old original knives.

I had this knife that came with my set. This was the most used knife I have. Went missing and I can't do without it. Just love this knife. Quality is excellent it is pricey but well worth it in my opinion
