Size: 1500W Infrared burner
Purchased this in March of 2023. Worked wonderfully for 5 months. Adjustable heat range from 100- 1500watts and a timer. The issue that it now jumps from the 100watt setting to some unknown higher wattage without any warning. Before we could leave it on the 100watt setting for a slow cook 1.5 - 2 hours, walk away and everything would be fine. Now it cannot be trusted to maintain the setting. We have had pots boiling over without warning as the burner ramped up the heat while on the lowest setting of 100watts. Previously we cooked hundreds of pots with the same amount of fluid and contents without any issues. The burner is still within the 18-month warranty period and we written to the company for support. I will update this review when I hear back. Its a shame that this has happened, because when it was working as it should, it does good job. Update as of 9-15-23 -- Cusimax Amazon contacted me saying they will be sending a replacement. This is good news since we do like the burner and appreciate having a working unit. The process to get to the right "department" for replacement was tedious, taking several days of emails and calls to amazon until the process was finally made clear by a helpful amazon representative -- hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, we look forward to receiving the new unit, which Cusimax says will arrive by express mail in exchange for this updated review. Thank you Cusimax! ... show more

Just used it for the first time this morning... put on my cast iron skillet and cooked me a piece of good old country sausage, scrambled eggs, and grits ..and I love it love it love it ...it works beautifully ..I got rid of my stove this week because it was so big and I just didn't need it anymore just cooking for me...and I've gone to using countertop appliances.. and so I'm so glad I bought this... you won't be disappointed... I was concerned that it might get hot underneath but it doesn't get hot at all on the underneath and just a bit warm on the outside... it's worth it ...trust me. THIS IS AN UPDATE... after several days later I am still extremely happy with this product it is everything I would have ever dreamed of I really really love it ..wish I had gotten it a lot sooner.. I chose the knife sharpener as my gift and it's very nice ..was delivered in 2 days thanks a bunch ... show more

I ordered this stove more than 8 months ago. And tried it only a few days ago. It had issues (see my initial review). The seller contacted me and provided a full refund. I probably got a defective unit, and another one would work well. With this support no risk to try. if it is not working, you will get your money back. I am putting 4 stars only because the unit I tried didn't work. I am not trying another unit because I immediately purchased another stove before contacting the seller. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Initial review I really used it for the first time only now. After you press button ON you have only one control plug/unplug. ON/OFF not working after it started. Temperature control is only 1500 watts. I can change info on the indicator from 100 to 1500 but the consumed power is always 1500 watts and it is red hot independently from the selection. ... show more

This is my 2nd time to buy this product (lost it during house-moving) and these years I have really enjoyed this product. We used this for our K-bbq and hot pot in our outdoor patio and so far we really like it! Very efficient in heating and very easy to adjust the termperture. Really like the handles on the sides which make it easy to manuever. Just wish that there might be wider temperature range to choose but this is already good enough. Price is reasonable. It has a nice design with a nice black finish-somewhere between satin and matte. Heats up fast. Easy to store. Dial settings not preset but manual control which I like. Being portable, I could put it where ever I want. I did experience a disappointing moment, however. I am a newbie to the glass stovetop appliances. I was unaware of how careful you have to be not to scratch the surface. I got minor scratch on the surface when I shuffled the pot during cooking. I was ready to send it back but decided to look up what customers have to say about other glass top cookware. After reading about glass top cooking surfaces from cooks that use them regularly this is a common situation and one must learn to live with being careful with these surfaces if you like to use them. I suppose it's like having a brand new car and you get freaked out with every little ding while using the car. There were various cleaning suggestions made on the internet and the scratch is signifantly reduced and now I don't pay attention to it as cooking on it functions so well for me. Live and learn. I normally use a 4 burner gas stove, one burner now no longer functions. I have roof solar panels and decided to use more electrical appliances for cooking, and this is the reason for my infrared portable cooking surface. My minor suggestion to the manufacturer is to put more emphasis in the pamphlet to take care not to shuffle the pots around while using the appliance for newbies like me. I give this cooktop 5 stars and 3 stars to me for learning experience. (And my cooking still could use a little more help-no stars yet.) ... show more

I like the fact that this electric stove is sleek not bulky. Also, appreciate that there's an on/off button. The previous electric stove we had didn't have this function. We use portable gas stove periodically, but it's always too hot when making pancakes or anything that requires low heat. Reliable product is one part of the equation. I bought this hot plate to use in my RV as I have some camping trips scheduled later this fall. It will help save on propane. I haven't had a chance to use it as of yet, however, I did turn it on and let it run the recommended 15 minutes to burn off any residue. It hardly gave off any odor which was nice. ... show more
