    • Good quality machine that makes great tasting rich coffee
It feels like a good quality but basic machine. This is my first espresso machine so my experience is limited to this one. It feels heavy and solid rather than plastic though. I wondered why it had suction cup for feet at first. After trying to install the portafilter it became very clear that was an attempt at keeping it in place for the filter installation. It doesn't make a lot of sense when the machine needs to be pulled forward to fill the water tank though. Despite suction cups, it still slides when I am trying to get the filter in and the touch screen buttons get mashed every time. It could use a good handle on the front so that the touchscreen is not the only place to hold it steady. The first time I tried to run the machine to clear it out before use, it just beeped and stopped working. The warning on the side says to drain water from the frother first if that happens. I was just about to give up on it working at all when I saw the notice on the side. It also has a QR that leads to a set of videos for this machine. That was more helpful than the manual, which could use some work. While releasing the hot water from the steam wand, I realized I could also use this for a cup of tea or hot cocoa so that is a nice bonus. From what I read, a shot of espresso should be about a tablespoon of coffee and the added measuring spoon they give is about 2TBs per shot. I am still confused about this, but maybe it takes more than other machines. Two full ones won't really fit in the double filter so I don't fill it full the second time. I appreciate that the steam wand can be turned to the side and aimed around the edge the thing to get it out of my way since I am clumsy trying to maneuver around obstacles. I wanted something that was automatic because I am no expert and wanted simplicity. I don't need a pressure gauge and appreciate being able to just push buttons rather than learn a new hobby. It makes a great iced coffee and latte or cappuccino which is all I was after. It beats a regular coffee machine hands down, but that is my only comparison. My coffees now taste more like coffee shop quality and the iced coffees are the best I have ever made from home. ... show more

It's compact, fit for my tiny kitchen, and the grippy rubber bits on the bottom are a plus. I like the silky foam from the steam wand, which makes my morning coffee taste better (make sure to buy one of those small stainless steel pitchers for yourself :)

Update: I reached out to the seller about this issue and received a full refund: Just received this machine and the "double Americano" only gives you a shot of espresso so I have to press the button several times to make 1 cup of coffee. I sent an email request to support so we'll see if they respond. The manual is written in terrible English and when I went to their website it tells you the parts are from China and they get shipped out 1-2 months AFTER you send in a request. I gave this machine a chance a few times, but the first thing is the taste of the coffee and the smell that comes with the plastic - it kills me. Secondly, it is not an espresso machine, but only a coffee maker, so the espresso in it is very bad
