We're remodeling our kitchen and this has been a good stand-in for our stove. For a third burner we've been using our butane camp stove. Much prefer the electric hot plate though. Cheaper to run. Does really well with only 120V 1500W of power just slower to warm up.

I have used it for cooking small portions of food for 3 people. It heats up really quickly. Surface gets hot pretty quickly so watch out after you are done with the food. I have used it for few weeks now and I have not encountered any issues.

I Like Everything Except Hot Control Knobs. YIKES...Almost impossible to adjust the temperature range due to knobs being very HOT. Maybe engineers can insulate them better ? Size is perfect, and looks great too.
