These are not the type of curtain rods to make a statement with, but they are very functional and sturdy. The rods are metal, but adjustable to multiple lengths (increments of about 15-16 inches), but the removable balls at the ends are plastic. They are simple and fit the purpose of what they are for.... to hold curtains. They are good for medium-heavy to light panels. I used a set for my thicker blackout grommet panels (4) and they do not bend or bow. I have had them up for about a year. I purchased more for my tall front room sheer panels, and these are consistent with the previous purchase. Like I said, they are simple, and the pieces are not exact matches when it comes to color, but they work great for areas that aren't going to be a focal point. ... show more

the pole screws into the other parts. This makes the pole sturdier but does not allow for much flexibility in length. It comes with 4 poles - 3 long and 1 short. I used 2 long and one short to fit my window. It is a very heavy duty pole. It is as easy to install as any other curtain rod.

These ended up working with some swapping around. The end caps are large so take that into consideration if you are doing a full wall of installation. They are sturdy - assembly, is above average, but not really all that flexible on length (for me and what I was doing - you might be home free).

I expected this to look kind of cheap because of the price, but it does not look cheap at all and it’s great to be able to change the size. It was easy to hang and comes with plenty of extra brackets if needed.

The three stars is based on it’s not “truly adjustable”!!! You have a choice of roughly increasing by 6” at a time! One rod will give you a length inside the window, and the next rod will put it way outside the window!! It is very sturdy if the lengths work for you! I have others that ones that the rod slides into the other, which truly makes it adjustable!!!! My fault for wanting to try a different brand! Live and learn!!! ... show more
