The brackets were so sturdy. There was a screw to adjust distance from the wall on the bracket to hold the rod and a screw to tighten so the rod stayed in place and did not move. There were several pieces of rod that screwed together which made it strong. My previous collapsed inside the other piece and were not strong. This rod was far more superior. There was a section at the end of the rod that extended for more length which made it so easy to get the proper length. I would, if needed, order these again for another window. And come on, the price was right!! But beware. I ordered the wrong color because the black looked like the bronze one in the picture and did not realize I had clicked on the wrong one. So when returning I had to pay shipping because I do not have a UPS store near me, only a drop off station which does not accept a CR code, they need a shipping label of which I had to spend $7 to get one from Amazon.

Love these curtain rods. They were on clearance half off so they definitely ended up in my cart. Super fast shipping. Really pretty. I have 3 Toddlers, so I definitely needed a rod that stayed incase you snag the curtain.

These rods are robust, elegant and effective. You have to screw different pieces together to create your size needed! The quality is great. They won’t buckle under pressure like my last rods of the same size. The finials make them look elegant. I never realized how hard it is to find a decent gold rod! Amazon once again came to my rescue! I definitely recommend. They aren’t dime store quality and remember you get what you pay for. I highly recommend these rods
