After reading reviews I bought a step drill to widen the hole as recommended. After getting the hitch I could have done it with a file was so close. Either way still a step drill for other projects. Install took about an hour. looks great and works better. Had to buy the wiring harness holder extra they really should add this 1 dollar part to the kit.

All hardware and spring wire included. Follow the instructions and you'll have it done in an hour. Minimal tools required. I was able to install it myself with no extra hands to help. Extra helpful tip: use wheel chocks in front of the vehicle for safety, I jacked up the rear and placed a jack stand under for extra support. Used a second jack stand under the exhaust forward of the rear tires to support the exhaust when it comes time to lower the exhaust from the rear supports. You vac use a drill bit with up and down motion to enlarge the bolt insertion hole if you don't have a dremel or step bit. You don't have to enlarge the entire hole just a little bit on opposite sides of the hole will work. All the rest is included in the easy to follow instructions. It's very well built. Fits perfectly.

Awesome hitch! Bought it for my 2019 Chevy Equinox LT 1.4L AWD and it fit perfectly. The installation as a pain, not because of the product, just was difficult doing it by myself. Had to drop the exhaust, that was a bummer and I was barely able to squeeze it in, but for it anyways. Had to widen the big frame hole to fish bolts and plates through on the car, but was easy. I just used some pliers to bend a bit of the metal out of the way, enough for the items to slip in. PRO TIP: leave the fish lines on the bolts after fishing them through the holes. That way, it is easier to align them when raising the hitch into place and in case the bolts get pushed back up into the frame beam. If you loose them inside the beam, there's little hope of retrieving them. I didn't have to take off the bumper, just had to bend the plastic enough under it to slip the hitch past the exhaust mounts. Took about 3 hours to do it. The hitch is sturdy and seems well-built. Solid steel and nice welds. Hope it holds up to towing! Great price though for a hitch.

Relatively easy to mount. It is a little low so have to be careful on steep driveways bit that’s mostly die to the stock height of my Equinox. Planning on a slight lift and next size tires to solve that problem. With that said, I a, pleased with the hitch.

I liked the quality of the hitch, it is well made. I would recommend this hitch. There should be direction with your product. The bolt frame locks were bigger the the holes in the vehicle frame.

The hitch fits perfectly, and arrived in perfect condition. I think you need to be pretty mechanically inclined to install. Did it by myself in about 2 hours but it’s not a simple task. You need to loosen the rear valance, lower the muffler and enlarge two holes in the frame and fish the bolts through those holes to drop through. Fish wires are provided and work well. Jacked the hitch from up into place and carefully pull bolts through. Just understand what you’re getting into prior to taking on this task. A second person would be helpful.

This hitch has performed well. It was a two-person job to install it on my vehicle but not too difficult. The hitch looks good and doesn't look out of place or take away from the aesthetic of the car.
