I bought this to improve mouse tracking and to keep my wooden desk from getting worn, and it works great. It's not very thick, and has a grippy rubber back and a bit of texture on the top surface to aid in precision tracking. it's bigger than you might think. there's no extra padding or backing to support the mousepad, it's just a hard piece of plastic. this does make it easy to clean. surface has enough good traction for mouse (with only a little noise moving the mouse) but without any roughness. the mousepad may slide around a bit on your desk if you accidentally touch it, but ultimately does the job.

The media could not be loaded. The Logitech G440 Hard Mouse Pad is really good. It has nice balance between roughness and smoothness, allowing your mouse to glide effortlessly while maintaining precision, and the texture feels just right, as the mouse does not feel like it’s going to glide off the desk. Cleaning the mouse pad is also easy, as just a quick wipe with a wet wipe is enough, which is much more convenient than washing a traditional cloth mouse pad. The rubber base grips the desk firmly, preventing any slipping during extended use, and the size of the mouse pad is perfect, offering enough space for movement without overwhelming your desk. Overall, If you want a hard mouse pad that’s easy to maintain, feels smooth, and stays in place, this is a great option.

Having not used a mouse pad for years, I noticed that the tracking on my Microsoft Sculpt mouse was terrible. It would jump, not move, often disappear from both screens. And, the slick mylar ring on the bottom was prematurely wearing out. So, looked for a decent mouse pad. Not a gamer, so really, my priority was that it not stink. I've had many in the past that smelled like the Costco tire section and the sewage treatment plant got together and had a baby... Nasty. Reviews on this mouse pad were great on the lack of smell. So I made the plunge, bought my first new mouse pad in over 20 years. I had no idea that these things nowadays didn't have a single standard size. It arrived today, and I was pretty much blown away by the size. If I was in Hawaii, I could probably use this thing as a boogie board for body surfing. It's HUUUGE!! Almost a foot high, and over a foot wide... Running a 60% Clicky-clacky kybd, the kybd fits about halfway on the mouse pad, leaving me ample room for the mouse. It's really that big. It really is too big for my use. Again, I'm not a gamer, but a systems/cyber engineer, and this thing takes up far more desk real estate than I care for. I can return it for free, but... if I cannot find a smaller (normal) sized mouse pad by the same manufacturer, I may just trim this one down to normal size and run with it. So if you're looking for a new mouse pad, that DOESN"T STINK, and ARE a Gamer, then hey, go with this one. It does not smell. If you want one that doesn't stink, but are not a gamer, then, perhaps look for one from same manufacturer, but is normal sized. And do pay attention to the sizing details. Otherwise, I love it!
