Description

The Starrett 3202 Series Dial Calipers provide quick, accurate measurements of O.D., I.D., and depth. It has sharp, black clear dial graduations on a satin finished bar, lock screws for sliding jaw and dial bezel, adjustable bezel, thumb-operated fine adjustment roll, hardened stainless steel bar, measuring surfaces, rack, gears, and depth rod, knife-edge contacts, positive and spring-loaded double pinion anti-backlash control. The dial caliper is the most versatile precision hand tool on the market and has been the first choice of metalworking professionals for decades. This series features a 0-6" range and .001" graduations, in fitted case.

These are typical Starrett quality calipers. No complaints. It would feel better making the purchase if they were manufactured here in the US, but unfortunately, they aren't. Came with standard red Starrett hard plastic case lined with unattached thin foam sheets inside... kinda cheap, not like the formed cases you get with 'Toyos. Thin film cover over dial only covers about a quarter size in the center, not the divisions. Also had an inspection card and little book. Would recommend for $150 ish, not $200 range. I use them daily as a machinist and they do well what I need them to. ... show more
