The Current lounger spa by Aqualife Spas by Strong Spas is built with resin construction that makes it super lightweight and portable while still offering strength and durability. The Current gives you luxury in a durable unit with a low maintenance, impact resistant exterior. All 14 hydrotherapy stainless steel jets are powered by an energy efficient 2 Peak HP, 2-speed pump that allows you to melt away the day’s aches and pains with the Current’s high speed hydrotherapy. Plug into any standard 120V/15A household outlet and you’re ready to entertain. You also have the option to convert to a 240V electrical unit allowing your heater to perform at its maximum on the coldest days, which we recommend having professionally installed by an electrician. This molded spa is made from quality colored granite resin that features a fully insulated interior allowing your spa to retain optimum heat from your Balboa all-season stainless steel heater all year long. The Current spa also comes with a heavy-duty, insulated tapered cover with locking clips allowing you to easily and comfortably close your spa while not in use. This product is delivered using a curbside delivery service.

It retains heat extremely well with the hard cover on. We've had zero leaks and minimal maintenance. I had previously bought the inflatable kind, that is a waste of money. This fits 4 adults very comfortable. The jets are powerful and the lights add a nice ambiance. The other plus is that it is much lighter than the heavy-duty ones. Great little hot tub if you only have 120v set up. I have an old beach cabin with a fuse box so I'd need to update the electrical if I wanted to use the 240v,which is nice that it has that conversion. The jets were nice & powerful, I love that it comes with locks, all the cup holders,the lights are nice I just wished it stayed warmer longer and came with a thicker cover. ... show more

I am very pleased so far. I only got the hot tub a couple days ago and tonight is the first time I’ve been in. I will update after I’ve had it awhile. There aren’t a lot of bells and whistles but that is what I wanted. A part on the drain broke as soon as I got it and needed to drain the antifreeze per the instructions. I called customer support and the new part will be received tomorrow. I was able to drain the antifreeze anyway. The part is basically just a on off valve and so I just removed the connector. I am a nurse so I am familiar with this type of connector we use for central lines! Solid product so far and 5 stars for customer service! ... show more

Delivered to our back patio. Was easy to set up - plug right into outlet and fill with water. We ordered a chlorine tablet holder online and haven’t had any issues. Our tub is under the deck so luckily the cover has held up, although if it’s out in the open to rain/snow/wind I don’t know if the cover quality would hold up as well ... show more

    • hot tub seats are not deep enough to fully cover you when setting in lounge chair
Hot tub is not deep enough to be fully immersed when sitting in the lounge chair, and when setting in a regular chair the water will not go up to your shoulders. Other than that hot tub appears to be as advertised.

The designers of this spa really thought it out. The spa is perfect for 2 people. The seats and jets are great. Upper back in one seat, a lounge with multiple jets and a spot to cool down a little, comfortably.
