The design seems nice and the plastic is robust and doesn't feel cheap but it didn't work out of the box. I suspect it is used as it has teethmarks from pliers on the lock handle and it won't open or close the feet to make it fit in a cupholder. It looks like it would be easy to operate and the gooseneck is stiff and might work well if the whole unit didn't fall out of the cupholder since the feet don't extend. Useful as a cookpot with a hole in the bottom. ***UPDATE - They replaced the unit within 2 days and it actually works really well. updating to 4 stars. ... show more

I bought one for my pickup and it works very well. When I took a job as a delivery driver driving a larger truck I bought a second. Adjusts easy and holds firmly in multiple different styles of vehicle cup holders. The cab of my large truck may shake, but it doesn’t get loose in the cup holders, the stem is sturdy, the tilt feature is pivotable and you can set the angle and lock it in place, and the jaws hold your phone firmly. Outstanding car cell phone holder. Easy to install, flexible, fits many sizes. We have purchased 5 of these to date. It is the first thing we buy when getting a car for our children. One did fall apart after several years but it is plastic stuff from china, so not unexpected.

Love the way this one fits in a cup holder. You can tighten it down so it does not sway or turn at all. Also, it has a height adjustment that works greatvin my F-150, for the gear stick is right by the cup holders. I raised the height adjustment and my cellphone is easily readable and out if the way of the gear stick. The mount has rubber rings that tightly fit in the cup holder and is tightened more as you turn the adjustment on it. Great purchase!! Getting two more!! ... show more
