We bought this gate to keep our dogs out of the mudroom. We have been using it since Aug 2023 with zero issues. It's in a high-traffic area and gets a lot of use. It was easy to install and didn't leave any damage on the door frame. Recently, the button that opens the gate broke off. I reached out to the company to see if they could send another button, and they are sending an entirely new gate! We needed a safety gate at the bottom of the stairs for when our pup came in with muddy paws and we didn't want him upstairs until he was cleaned up. This gate is perfect for us! Not only is it secure once in place, but the gate is easy to open with one hand and automatically closes behind you. If you want it open, it can be swung in the open position for walking through without having to open the gate. The only drawback is I would have preferred a taller gate as we are tall people, but for the price, this can't be beat! No holes to drill or screws needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We have 4 dogs and live in a two-floor house. One of our dogs is blind, and another is always looking for something to chew. First, we got one and it worked perfectly, It was easy to install and relocate, allowing us to move it easily to block the stairs (for our blind dog) or the kitchen. We decided to buy 2 additionals to stop moving it, and have full control of the stairs access.

I use this baby gate at the top of my outdoor stairs so my dog can be on the patio without escaping. The gate was perfect at first, and would close automatically with a gentle push. However, as it aged, it started to slip around, and when I tightened the screw mounts to prevent it from sliding around the walls, it was then too tensioned for the gate to close on its own without being shoved shut. I also have this outside in a coastal area (I understand it's not designed for that) but note that if you want it for outside, mine rusted within a month. Overall a good pick

I don’t often write reviews. Only when I’m extremely satisfied or dissatisfied with a purchase. I use this gate to keep my then puppy now dog within a specific area of the house. This gate is solid. Five family members going in and out all day every day for over a year. The self close and latch feature keeps on ticking. Very satisfied and I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Once we got the measurements and read the first page or two of the instruction manual, we had no problem installing the gate. It was super easy, easier than I even anticipated. Just want to stress the importance of not messing with the tightening once you’ve cut the red zip tie that has a sign that says do not cut until after install. It messes with the way the gate shuts. Make sure it’s secure, cut the red zip tie and don’t mess with it. It works beautifully. I’m so happy with it. Easily worth the money. We’re getting at least 3 more because we have 3 levels of our home and 2 sets of stairs so we’ll have a total of 4 gates. We simply used the pressure based install rather than the screws because our home is newly renovated and we don’t want to mess up the walls and the brand new banisters. It’s insane how sturdy this baby gate is. I’m thoroughly impressed and I absolutely love how nice it looks. 10 out of 10 recommend. UPDATE::: This update has everything to do with having to remove the gate and then reinstall it. I genuinely believed once you install the gate (using the pressure mounts only) that it absolutely could not be removed and reinstalled. Boy was I wrong. Yes, the initial instructions say not to cut the big red zip tie until you’ve finished the installation, but it’s not as scary as they make it seem. You can literally remove this gate however many times you need to and then reinstall it just fine. The one thing you will need, however, is heavy duty zip ties (or multiple regular but elongated zip ties). Which we had because we had been in the process of moving . Because we moved into our newly renovated home very recently from a super tiny 2 bedroom apartment, we had to buy a lot of new furniture. I was concerned about the fact that we wouldn’t be able to reinstall the baby gates if we had to remove them and we were fully prepared to just chuck these in that case and buy 2 new gates. I mean, what the heck are you supposed to do with a toddler running around? Just not put in a gate because it’s gonna get in the way 3 weeks later when the furniture is delivered??? Of course not. What happens when you remove the pressure from the pressure mounts is that the door part of the gate basically separates and your first instinct is to panic. Which is exactly what I did. But fear not, for I have the answer! You’re absolutely going to need to use some brute force and some sort of zip tie, be it heavy duty or just basic, but what you need with the zip tie is to simply “scrunch” it to the point you can get the gate back into the place you had it installed initially. For us, we had them at the top and bottom of our staircase. As long as it fits, all you have to do is reinstall it like you did the first time. And I did this for the bottom and top of our staircase. Once you get the gate to fit through the space you needed it to fit into, you just keep spinning the little black piece around the screw on both sides and both top and bottom until it’s back into place and BAM it works just like it did before. Because of this, I am an even bigger fan of these gates. They look amazing they function perfectly and you can remove them over and over if necessary. Freaking awesome. Again, this is only for the pressure mount option. I have no idea if this works for the permanent screw mount.

Since it is time for the hot weather again… I want to be able to open my doors without worrying that my dog will run down the stairs. Brandy thinks everyone should take the time to stop and pet her…lol. But they just want to walk or bike etc. This is a great barrier easy to install. Outdoor stairs are a bit different from indoors stairs but with a piece of wood under the railing, my husband was able to make it work. Looks great and does the job! Very happy with my purchase.

Have a smart dog? This light weight but high performing gate keeps the doggie's inteligence from overcoming gravity. He/She or other stays downstairs. No more " What are you doing up here?" I am grateful for this gate. Hurray. I'd write more but that effort woukd be at odds to getting more done with less effort.m This app is irritating as it does not let me stop.
