  • Perfect for Vintage Coach leather
I used Angelus Leather Filler to fix some tears in my vintage coach bag, and it worked beautifully. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, and it spreads evenly without clumping. Once it dried, it sanded down nicely for a seamless finish and took leather paint very well. A little goes a long way, and it dries flexible so it doesn’t crack again after the leather is bent or worn. I was pleasantly surprised by how professional the repair looked when I was done—it’s hard to tell there was damage at all. If you’re doing any leather restoration, this is a must-have in your kit. ... show more

  • Wonderful and Easy to Use Angelus Leather Filler
I recently used the Angelus Leather Filler to repair some cracks and scuffs on a pair of leather shoes, and I was impressed with its effectiveness. Here’s my detailed review: Ease of Use — This filler is very easy to apply—it has a smooth, creamy consistency that spreads well over damaged areas. I used a small spatula and my fingers to fill in cracks, and it dried evenly without excessive shrinkage. Sanding after drying helps achieve a seamless look, especially for deeper repairs. Flexibility & Durability — Once fully cured, the filler remains flexible, which is crucial for leather items that bend and move, like shoes or car seats. Some fillers tend to harden too much and crack over time, but Angelus holds up well with daily wear. Color & Paintability — The filler dries to a neutral off-white color, making it ideal for customization. It absorbs leather paint well, and after applying Angelus Leather Paint over it, the repair blended seamlessly. Best Uses — This product is great for repairing cracks, scratches, and small holes on leather shoes, car seats, furniture, and jackets. However, for larger holes or deep gouges, multiple layers or additional reinforcement may be needed. Pros & Cons ✅ Pros: • Easy to apply and dries evenly • Remains flexible after curing • Paint adheres well for a seamless repair • Made in the USA with high-quality materials ❌ Cons: • Not suitable for large holes without reinforcement • Requires sanding for best results • Only comes in a small 2 fl oz size Final Verdict — The Angelus Leather Filler is a high-quality, flexible repair solution for leather items. It’s easy to work with, durable, and blends well when painted, making it perfect for minor cracks and surface damage. If you need a long-lasting fix for worn-out leather, this is a great product to have. ... show more

  • A little goes a long way
Works really well if you use sparingly. I was able to mend a clean rip on my gray leather sofa without having to even repaint by using a thin layer of this filler on the undersides of the rip and then gently pushing the sides back together. It works pretty quickly, so the bigger the rip, maybe break up the process. The rip on my sofa was about an inch, so it was pretty small. I used a toothpick to apply the filler and made sure the layer would be thin enough not to bleed out. If it does, maybe use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe the excess? I'm not sure, but it was clean enough that I cannot see any white filler, so I didn't have to sand or paint anything. No smell, looks great, pretty easy, and took only a few minutes to apply. ... show more

  • Works great!
I have a cream colored loveseat that was in rough shape from wear & cat scratches. Cleaned the sofa with a cleaner called Super Clean (saw it on a YouTube video). It cuts grease and oils really well with almost no odor. After it dried I used the filler and did about 3 coats. Allowed the filler to dry a few hours between coats. It did a great job of filling in minor scratches in one coat, but needed a few coats for the black areas. Waited 24 hours after last coat, sanded it briefly with 220 grit sandpaper, & then applied leather paint. Came out great and my sofa looks brand new. Note - I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it starts to thicken pretty fast if you don't keep the top closed as you work. And I had to buy a 2nd container of filler to have enough to complete my loveseat. But granted my loveseat was was in bad shape. But 2 oz is still a pretty small container. I would definitely recommend this product! I noticed some reviews said it was too thin. But you want it thin. If it's too thick then it shows up under the Leather paint and you spend all your time sanding. Better to use several thin coats than one thick one. ... show more

  • Good product
Works, takes some skill to apply and sand, but does the job.

  • Saved my security deposit
My apartment came furnished with a leather couch. We put fabric protectors on it, but my cat got to it somehow and it had some punctures. This filler, paired with Angelus leather paint, deglazer, and finisher (not to mention some basic arts and crafts skills) fixed the couch perfectly-- you'd never know my cat was anywhere near it. It's flexible and smooth to the surrounding surface when applied and sanded properly. Thank you Angelus!! ... show more

  • This worked well
I had a wide strap on a leather shoe that got a small tear in it. I used contact cement to ram between the leather layers then I patched the tear on the right side of the shoe with this product mixed with the Black leather paint by the same company. A little goes a long way. After drying, I sanded it lightly to smooth it out and put some black shoe polish over it as the leather paint was more matte than the shoe. It's pretty invisible. The directions on the product are very clear. ... show more

  • Not sure if it fills the holes but it won’t take on the leather dye
The media could not be loaded. Horrible horrible….. HORRIBLE. So it’s a filler, but it stays bright white even when I apply the dye. It made my leather chairs worse than before. Do NOT USE unless you want uglier leather. This product does NOT do what it says. It has a very long dry period of 48hours so by the time it passed I realized too late how awful it dried and it didn’t absorb the leather dye. I also could NOT remove it and It won’t solve your leather tears or repair them like it says and it makes things so much worse. I wish I never used this. This is a horrible, horrible product that ruins the leather. Do NOT try-you’ll regret it. ... show more
