I love this baby gate for keeping our dogs contained! We’ve used several different brands of baby gates and this one is by far superior, super easy to open/close one handed, quiet compared to other squeaky gates, and the different sets of extenders included makes sure this gate fits a variety of openings. Another note, this customer service team is AMAZING! Super responsive and very helpful! My husband threw away the extra extenders and they offered to send a whole new gate set. The media could not be loaded. Once we got the measurements and read the first page or two of the instruction manual, we had no problem installing the gate. It was super easy, easier than I even anticipated. Just want to stress the importance of not messing with the tightening once you’ve cut the red zip tie that has a sign that says do not cut until after install. It messes with the way the gate shuts. Make sure it’s secure, cut the red zip tie and don’t mess with it. It works beautifully. I’m so happy with it. Easily worth the money. We’re getting at least 3 more because we have 3 levels of our home and 2 sets of stairs so we’ll have a total of 4 gates. We simply used the pressure based install rather than the screws because our home is newly renovated and we don’t want to mess up the walls and the brand new banisters. It’s insane how sturdy this baby gate is. I’m thoroughly impressed and I absolutely love how nice it looks. 10 out of 10 recommend. UPDATE::: This update has everything to do with having to remove the gate and then reinstall it. I genuinely believed once you install the gate (using the pressure mounts only) that it absolutely could not be removed and reinstalled. Boy was I wrong. Yes, the initial instructions say not to cut the big red zip tie until you’ve finished the installation, but it’s not as scary as they make it seem. You can literally remove this gate however many times you need to and then reinstall it just fine. The one thing you will need, however, is heavy duty zip ties (or multiple regular but elongated zip ties). Which we had because we had been in the process of moving . Because we moved into our newly renovated home very recently from a super tiny 2 bedroom apartment, we had to buy a lot of new furniture. I was concerned about the fact that we wouldn’t be able to reinstall the baby gates if we had to remove them and we were fully prepared to just chuck these in that case and buy 2 new gates. I mean, what the heck are you supposed to do with a toddler running around? Just not put in a gate because it’s gonna get in the way 3 weeks later when the furniture is delivered??? Of course not. What happens when you remove the pressure from the pressure mounts is that the door part of the gate basically separates and your first instinct is to panic. Which is exactly what I did. But fear not, for I have the answer! You’re absolutely going to need to use some brute force and some sort of zip tie, be it heavy duty or just basic, but what you need with the zip tie is to simply “scrunch” it to the point you can get the gate back into the place you had it installed initially. For us, we had them at the top and bottom of our staircase. As long as it fits, all you have to do is reinstall it like you did the first time. And I did this for the bottom and top of our staircase. Once you get the gate to fit through the space you needed it to fit into, you just keep spinning the little black piece around the screw on both sides and both top and bottom until it’s back into place and BAM it works just like it did before. Because of this, I am an even bigger fan of these gates. They look amazing they function perfectly and you can remove them over and over if necessary. Freaking awesome. Again, this is only for the pressure mount option. I have no idea if this works for the permanent screw mount.

We bought this gate to stop our extremely active dog from going into our living room and dining room. It was so easy to install and it is so secure. The latch works in both direction and with close itself if you gently allow it too. It certainly would stop a baby or toddler from getting into trouble because it’s designed so well.

This gate is well made and strong however, it was not as wide as it stated and we had to buy and extension to make it fit the area. It was easy to install and took approximately 30 minutes for my Husband and I to put in place. We have another gate just like it but not as wide and it works well also. We have 2 small Yorkies that are active and we needed to be able to block off certain rooms of our home.

Since it is time for the hot weather again… I want to be able to open my doors without worrying that my dog will run down the stairs. Brandy thinks everyone should take the time to stop and pet her…lol. But they just want to walk or bike etc. This is a great barrier easy to install. Outdoor stairs are a bit different from indoors stairs but with a piece of wood under the railing, my husband was able to make it work. Looks great and does the job! Very happy with my purchase.

This product exceeded my expectations. I never write Amazon product reviews but this product is so good that I felt obligated to write something. It comes with at least 3 kits for installing in various locations. I purchased two gates: one blocking a doorway, another blocking a hall (between two drywall panels).. Each required different hardware. And when the dog is older I will change out the mounting hardware and move a gate to the stairway where the third kit anchors the door between round banisters The gates are self closing. The latches are easy to toggle. They appear to be powder coated which is very durable.

We use this gate to hold back our three 70 pound dogs. I love the self closing feature so they can't escape. I also love that you can open the door and it stays open at 90 degrees when you're not using it. It was very easy to install and the brown color is beautiful and matches with our hardwood floors.

We currently have two of these gates installed and will be getting a third. We almost paid for a custom gate due to an odd shaped landing, but this ended up working for us. These gates are durable, easy to install and most importantly keep our toddler safe. Highly recommend!
