    • Lightweight, but effective
This zombie is surprisingly creepy out of the box. The styrofoam head and black polyester hair make it lightweight. I got my paints out and made the tongue redder and blackened up the eyes a bit for even more creepiness. I also bought some googly eyes that you peel off and stick on, but I used a hot glue gun to assure it would be permanent. That really added to the effect. Then I sprayed the whole thing with Sunguard to prevent fading. It's hard to find a way to affix this thing to the ground so it won't blow away, being so lightweight, but I put some lawn staples in the ground and used fishing twine to tie it down. Now it's out there and ready for Halloween. Nice product, but it needs a little help to enhance the look and make sure it stays in place. ... show more

    • Didn't last more than a few weeks
I didn't expect it to last too long, maybe through Halloween so I could pack it away since I set it up close to the house & away from wind. However, This didn't even last 2 weeks up until Halloween. We didn't get much rain (maybe 1/2 inch) all October & this pooped out. 1. You have to find your own way to fix it to the ground. 2. Any & all debris (leaves, pollen, mulch etc) will collect in the matted hair wig, making it look like a "nest" blob. 3. This was extremely cheaply made. I literally have tiny yard signs from the dollar store that held up better. I had to trash it the day after Halloween. ... show more
