I purchased the US-DC3 Under Sink Direct Connect Premium Lead Filtration System on Amazon on 12/27/22 for $100.99. I received it on 12/29/22 and didn’t install it until around mid-January 2023. In the middle of February 2023, the cold water started to slowly come out of the faucet. By the end of February 2023, the first part of March 2023 the cold water was just trickling out and only hot water was flowing regularly out of the faucet. I was determined the filter was faulty and was restricting water flow. On March 6, 2023, I contacted Culligan about their faulty US-DC3-R filter which lasted approximately 30 days. Culligan refused to replace the faulty filter claiming it was my water quality that was the issue, not their filter. It’s funny how Culligan knows what my water quality is without requesting a water quality report. Furthermore, I guess their water filter has a problem filtering water and may become inoperative as a result. I contacted Amazon to see if they would hold Culligan accountable for selling faulty water filter on their website. Amazon refused to intercede because it had been over 30 days since purchase. I will be searching for a new under sink water filter from a company that is reliable and offers excellent customer service. Obviously, Culligan is not that company. ... show more

    • A week later and I still can't install it........
My first impression so far is not good and i haven't even used it yet. I am still trying to find parts to connect it. There are NO instructions at all and nothing that indicates connection sizes. The product does not come with any type of Connectors either. I have had to trial and Error it at the hardware store just to figure out what size fittings i need and what size reducers i need in order to hook it up to my sink....... I am now waiting on the 2nd round of parts i had to order off Amazon and hoping those will work. I have a standard Sink fed off a 1/2 waterline using a 1/2in feeder to the sink.... Nothing odd about that.... you would think the MNF would at least show a photo of the things you might possibly would need.... but no.... Good luck trying to find the adapters at the local Home Depot, unless you want to piecemeal together 15 different parts to sorta kinda get the one connection you need. Highly disappointed to say the least. I will keep subtracting stars until I can at least hook it up. ... show more

    • Easy install if you're careful
Pretty easy to install. When I first turned on the water I had a leak. Per the instructions, I disconnected the leaking end, re-cut it, and made sure to insert it ALL the way (it goes in farther that you might think). No leaks after that! Note that the pre-cut end has a crimp. You must re-cut the end before you cut to length. Flow rate is great - same as with no filter. Minus one start because filter is not ANSI certified. ... show more
