Features

  • THE ONLY GRAVITY FILTER CERTIFIED TO REMOVE MICROPLASTICS, LEAD & TOTAL PFAS: Enjoy cleaner, safer water with our carbon and ceramic water filter certified to NSF/ANSI-42 standards to reduce harmful contaminants. Each gravity water filter reduces microplastics, lead and forever chemicals, while keeping in essential minerals like calcium and magnesium. Ceramic filters are not designed to reduce TDS (total dissolved solids), so TDS readings may stay the same or slightly rise while still giving you healthier, safer water.
  • COMPATIBLE WITH BERKEY WATER FILTERS: All Berkey water filters fit inside Culligan gravity dispensers, including Berkey Black BB9-2 Water Filter Replacement. The Culligan MaxClear countertop water filter system is also compatible with Boroux, ProOne, Doulton, Purewell and Waterdrop replacement filters.
  • EASY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE: No electricity or plumbing required. Place this water filtration system anywhere in your house and simply fill up a glass to enjoy fresh, clean drinking water. The large gallon capacity requires fewer refills, making it the perfect water filter for home, and provides enough daily drinking water for a small family of up to 3 people.
  • POWERFUL CARBON AND CERAMIC WATER FILTER: Culligan gives you certified filtration that lower priced gravity filters cant match. Unlike many low-cost gravity water filter system alternatives, our carbon and ceramic water filter features both a high-grade ceramic outer shell and a filter core that is made of proprietary carbon-based granular material to reduce contaminants.
  • COUNTERTOP WATER FILTER DISPENSER WITH DURABLE, SLEEK DESIGN: Our thoughtfully designed stainless steel water filter dispenser comes with a polished finish for better-for-you hydration that looks good and tastes better. Includes a stainless steel spigot and stand for easy use. When youre finished, the Scout gravity water filter system nests within itself to store at less than 12 inches tall.

  • Love my filter
Color: Polished Size: 2.25 Gallons Style: 1 Filter
I am very happy with this water filter. I live in Florida where the water is horrible and this makes the water taste better and look better. The filters are pricey but it beats running to the store every few days to fill my three gallon jugs. The 2.25 gallons is perfect size for a small kitchen and just one or two people and a small dog. I drink a lot of water and cook and clean my veggies only with this water so I do have to fill it twice a day but that is easy. ... show more

  • Definitely would buy again, clean water is life
Color: Polished Size: 3 Gallons Style: 1 Filter
I’ve had my water filter for about 6 months now and am so happy we bought one. It can take several filters at a time but I only use one to save them, as ceramic filters can be pricey. It works for me as I have 2 glass gallon containers that are filled daily. So we never have to wait long for our water needs. It’s super easy to set up, functions very well, water is crystal clear. ... show more

  • CAUTION- filter ADDS Total Dissolved Solids; unable to verify other filtering
Color: Brushed Size: 2.25 Gallons Style: 2 Filters
After using the filter for 7 tank refills, I decided to test the water before and after the filter. I purchased an electronic measuring tool for total dissolved solids (TDS), and measured the water before and after filtration. Before filtration it registered at 151ppm of TDS. After filtration through the Culligan, it was 267ppm. This makes no sense to me. Why would the dissolved solids be higher? Is the filter really added solids? To verify the tool, I tested distilled water which measured at 0 to 1 ppm of TDS. I want to believe that the Culligan system is filtering out PFAS, microplastics, etc. But I cannot reconcile that with the test results. If I had the time, I would take test samples and send them to a lab, but I would first need someone to tell me how this filter could filter out the bad stuff but add other solids to the water. Update- I spoke with Culligan and their support rep stated that this filter uses a ceramic filter that DOES NOT FILTER PARTICULATES, and that it is possible they add particulates. I suggested that they disclose that. I also asked how they meet the NSF 42 (odor, color particulates) and 53 (health risk particulates). She could only say that we need to rely on the test results they have disclosed on their website that the filter does remove these at 96 to 99%. I really wanted this filter to work for us. I contacted a water quality specialist, and it sounds like the only way to determine if the one you bought has the same results as they claim would be to do a separate independent lab test of your water. To measure removal percentage, you would need to test the water before the filter and after the filter. (2 samples) I checked with local labs and it looks like this is an expensive process, especially for microplastics and pfas (forever chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides). Much, much more costly than the unit itself. Bottom line- it does not work for particulates and Culligan admits that. I have no idea if it works for the other contaminates but this puppy is getting returned to Amazon. ... show more

I was looking into getting a Berkey but stumbled upon this. I am really happy with how well it seems to filter out the impurities. I think better than the Berkey. So far I am really satisfied.

  • Is my new filter really new
Color: Brushed Size: 2.25 Gallons Style: 1 Filter
I just put together my Culligan water filter. It was fairly easy; however, I’m wondering if I bought a previously owned filter. The stainless steel washers were supposed to have a blue covering on them and there wasn’t any. Also, the directions on the filter said to place one of the plastic washers on it but it was already on there. Also, the boxes were part way opened when I opened the shipping carton. If there is any way to find out if sure if this is brand new, I would like to know. ... show more
