Bought in September, it's on the heavy side so thought it was a good quality. The device broke a cork way up inside on the first bottle, spent several hours over time to remove, worked just OK after this until last week - when it just quit. No reason, it just quit. I thought it was my bottle of wine that caused the problem, but after reading recent reviews it doesn't sound like it. Note: my husband was able to remove a cork from our relative's Wine Enthusiast opener last week in no time at all, so I'll will be replacing with one of these. ... show more

Easy to use and pulled a wine cork with ease. Seems well made...better than the one I previously had. I wish the charging light would turn a different color or blink when the item is fully charged. I would suspect the light being on all the time...even when fully charged...would shorten the battery life due to over charging. ... show more

The first time I used this product, I had it plugged in for more than a day, and it worked. So it had charged for a long time. I placed it in our cupboard without charge and when I used it shortly after that, the device slowed then stopped in the middle of putting the screw into the cork. I tried to pull the it out using the reverse but it didn't work so I used a hand-held corkscrew. I use the electric product because I have arthritis in my hand. I had an electric corkscrew from a different company in the past that lasted a long time, and without frequent charges. I am not happy with this item and realize that I have to keep it charged every time while using. ... show more
