The sliding carriage is gravity fed with the food tray angled toward the blade, allowing you to make precise cuts without manually feeding or pushing your roasts, hams, and pork bellies. Plus, the food holder and included hand guard offers added protection. This slicer can slice as thin as 1mm or as thick as 15mm (.5") and any thickness in-between, making it perfect for ultra-thin slices or thicker cuts of beef, chicken breast, dried salami, jerky slices, or even cheese. The stainless steel blade turns at 432 RPM for quick and easy slicing. A one hour run time gives you plenty of time to complete the job in one session. An additional sharpening stone and drive belt are included with purchase.

This is my first deli slicer, it’s smaller than I expected but in a good way. It’s your typical LEM high quality machine, everything fits and works as it should and cuts very well. Very easy instructions, and surprisingly minimal assembly (just add one piece easily) Worked great, planning on using this to save on deli purchases ( I can make my own now) and slicing my sourdough boules and sandwich breads. I took away one star because their "on line" warranty registration does not work. I completed the on line registration form correctly, but I kept getting the message to complete all fields correctly. I rechecked all information which was correct then gave up. I registered the old fashion way through snail mail. I have been using a hobart for the last 20 years and it was getting to be a struggle. I used this at my sisters house and it was so easy and quiet that I ordered one that day. I use it a fair bit mostly rib and strip loin roasts.Great for making sandwich meet for both.

I purchased this for my wife for Christmas, we have been talking about getting one for quite a while. We enjoy doing hot pot at home and buying sliced meat was pretty pricey. Using this we sliced all kinds of meats. Lamb, beef, pork and even some chicken. Best to mostly freeze your meat prior to slicing, overnight seemed perfect. wasn't frozen solids but firmed it up so it would hold together easily for slicing. We even sliced some cheese and it worked fantastic. Cleaning wasn't too difficult, simple wiped it down with some Lysol wipes and removed the blade for cleaning it and behind. takes about 10 minutes. operation was great, we cut about 1mm thick for the hotpot, the thickness dial is smooth and the sliding action of the slider was smooth as butter. Wow, this thing cuts like butter! So happy with our purchase and look forward to saving money slicing all my own deli meat. I'm glad I spent a little more to get a better quality produce. My only wish is that they had better instructions on how to remove the blade for cleaning. There is certainly a learning curve and I almost cut myself pretty bad trying to get it apart to clean before use. Be careful! The blade is no joke. ... show more
