The media could not be loaded. The product works fine when shredding boiled purple yum.The only thing is the motor cannot grind a lot of boiled purple yum you need to rest it first to avoid over heating.But aside from that it is all good.

This product works great on slicing carrots and sweet potatoes for my dogs, easy and safe to use. I purchased this less than a year ago and the plastic tab on the feed tube broke today. I want to get a replacement, but it doesn't appear that there is one. The slicer won't work with the broken part and without a replacement it was a poor investment for a 9 month usage. Update: the seller contacted me and that was really nice. I believe that they have offered a good solution so I'm going to buy another one and see if the changes I implement in using the new slicer will do the trick. I purchased this to primarily grate cheese. When I got it the instruction manual only listed 2 types (on the dryer side) of cheese. Despite the instructions, I’ve used this 3 times for cheddar cheese and it works great. It also cleans easily. The things I don’t like about it is you have to hold the power button down while using the other hand to push the item down. The port is also small so I have to cut up the block to fit. All in all it’s a good grater. Just expect to have to cut a lot of stuff in half (at least) before running it through. ... show more

We were looking for a kitchen appliance to grate vegetables, mainly potatoes and carrots, to make kugles. (You can Google that Yiddish word, it’s difficult to translate.) Most people I spoke to use either a hand grater or a Braun food processor with a kugle attachment. We don’t have room for a large processor, and find hand grating too difficult. I found the Homdox on Amazon and the reviews were good. Yesterday I used it for the first time, and I LOVE it. It’s as easy to use as a processor, and using the fine grater attachment made for perfect kugle texture. Cleaning it was easy too.
