I wanted a low-profile , 2 slice toaster with wide slot bagel setting. This toaster fits the bill - it is easy to use, takes little counter space and does a nice job with even toasting. You can set your desired toast preference through a touch screen setting from 1 to 6 and can see the count down and even add an extra 30 seconds if desired. It also has a 1-slice option and a defrost option. It is easy to clean, providing a slide out crumb tray. The bagel setting works well, toasting only one side of the bagel, with the bagel icon showing how to place the bagel slices such that the "cut" sides are facing the "toasting" grill. The icons illuminate when you press the "power" button, and then go dark after several minutes of non-use. I waited over one month of daily use before writing this review to ensure no issues showed up. I will update this review if any issues surface, but so far I am very happy with this toaster. ... show more

Once I grasped how it works, it was great. Does require a learning curve. I would suggest they provide a video on how all the buttons work would be nive.

Toaster is quirky in that it does not toast well with any reliability. The push bar is weak and the pop up spring is weak. I thought that the product from a reputable company would perform better, but its just way over rated and a poor quality toaster. Why are toaster so hard to make reliable and perform today??. I can tell the parts are typical cheap Chinese metal and performs really bad ... show more

I love all the features you get on this quality toaster for the money. especially the bagel option (toasting light on one side), the electronic countdown, adding 30 sec, pulling up the toast to see if it's done, and single. Nice and slender and compact.

But excited I am! We have black appliances, and an old white toaster. Painted the kitchen and added a black backsplash and I started shopping black toasters - so many - oh, look! A Cuisinart! We LOVE our Cuisinart coffee pot, so why not? It's a VERY nice toaster. Hubby totally approves of the settings as he prefers his toast much "toastier" than mine. Cuisinart Toaster In September of 2021, I purchased this product. The panel to choose what I was toasting stopped working in that I couldn’t not able to choose the selection of what I was toasting. I had always thought Cuisinart products were of a high quality. Apparently that is not the case. I would have thought the toaster would last more than a year..
