I live full time in my RV and have limited space but still like my kitchen appliances to make my life easier. I have only had the air fryer for a few days but completely impressed with it's ability. I have used it for french fries, vegetables, flatbread, and toast. It is small and a bit challenging to get in and clean it but it works as designed and functioned perfectly. For me there is a learning cure with this being my first air fryer but I would have to say it is a great addition to my kitchen and given the small foot print I could not have asked for a better air fryer. I tried some sweet potato flat bread using a 7X7 pizza stone and the bread was nice and crisp then I made some using parchment paper and it turned out soft enough for use as a gyro wrap. French fries took about 20 minutes and with a mist of oil on them they turned out great with a nice crispness and fully cooked. Toast took a few minutes but as my other items it produced good toast. The only cons would be cleaning the inside of the unit and the removable crumb tray could possibility been a bit wider but if it was wider it may have the potential to bind and be hard to remove. Overall I like the air fryer it is a good fit for me.

Salmon filets are done in 10 minutes. Frozen sweet potatoe fries as well (just need to let them sit a couple of minutes after to make sure they crisp up) Brussel sprouts were amazing and also quick. Toaster is a bit slow, it's easy to burn things in the beginning until you get the hang of the timing. I'm not crazy about having to wipe the inside down each time I cook something that splatters, but I don't want it to end up looking disgusting like every toaster oven I've ever owned! It is compact so excellent for two people in a household. Too small, likely, for 4. Liked it so much we bought the larger one for our vacation house which has more counter space!

I bought this unit after my Dash air fryer started shedding little bits of nonstick coating into our food. I chose it because of its size, functionality, composition (no black nonstick stuff!) and the fact that Cuisinart products are usually dependable. Generally speaking, I'm pleased with this unit. It does what it says it will do. Sure, there's a learning curve, but that's true with any new appliance. I love that I don't feel like I'm poisoning my kids by feeding them pieces of non-stick coating, so that's a huge plus. It does have some cons, though, at least for me. Probably the biggest one, and the thing I feel the loss of the most between my old Dash air fryer and this one, is that there's no easy way to check the food quickly without involving an oven mitt. I loved that I could just yank quickly on the handle of my old fryer with my bare hand, quickly pull out the drawer to see and touch the food inside to see how close to done it was, then pop it back in. With this one, I've got to put my oven mitt on, open the door, pull the tray out, check the food, push the tray back in, take my oven mitt off. Sure, first world problem. No big deal. Except it kind of is, when you're used to something easier. Second thing I don't love about it is it's kind of big and ugly. That's entirely subjective, though, so I don't think one can really take any stars away from it just for that. I've had my Cuisinart unit a couple weeks now and, with two small kids to feed, I've certainly put it through its paces. I've baked pizza and chicken, roasted veggies, and air fried countless chicken nuggets and French fries. I haven't used the toast feature at all, because, well....I have a toaster. But it's done a great job as a handy countertop oven and replacement for my poisonous air fryer. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.

This Cuisinart TOA-28 is just perfect for me. I was concerned that it was going to be complicated & take me a while to learn but not so - very easy to use. I've used the air fryer for chicken, salmon & french fries so far & the warmer for reheating. My salmon cooked in 9 minutes & was so moist & delicious! One of the awesome things is the quick ability to check if the food is cooked all the way through without heating up a large oven...when the door is opened the cooking stops then resumes if needed. Cleaning up hasn't been a problem for me but that could be attributed to my low fat diet, leaner foods don't spatter as much. I don't know how I would clean the coils on the top though if necessary. It is a narrow opening which has proved a challenge with my large oven mitts - I haven't found the permit mitts yet. While I live alone this would be adequate for a couple as well.

We gave our son the larger regular sized Cuisinart Airfryer and we all loved it. Then he moved out an took it with him. My wife's only complain was the size of that unit so I was excited to discover this smaller version. It works perfectly and is identical to the larger unit in every way except on. For some reason, they did not include an internal light like the larger unit has. This makes it a little harder to check the doneness of things you're cooking especially since it is such a small space inside. This is a minor flaw and definitely wouldn't have stopped me from buying this toaster replacement that does SO much more. It only gets 4 stars for "Easy to clean" because crumbs do tend to get around the crumb tray are the bottom fairly easily. Particularly, when they fall on the door as you remove an item and then close the door which sends the crumbs directly under the front of the crumb tray. But this is just the price that needs to be paid for such a feature-rich compact unit.
