I've had the set about 6 weeks. It really is nonstick without using any cooking spray. My main complaint thus far is the fact that the metal handle on the lids gets very hot. These have the only legitimate non-stick surface I've ever found - and I've tried a long list of name brands over a period of many years. Cuisinart actually tells you in the instructions that you don't need to use oil or butter unless you want it for the flavor and it's 100% true - I've successfully fried eggs over-easy with nothing in the pan but the eggs!! The surface of the pans looks amazing and the instructions say you can use metal utensils but I see no reason to do so because I want these to last the longest possible time. I've read reviews that mention the outside of the pan being difficult to clean but that is not my experience. Washing them once they've cooled down keeps them like new. I love to cook and these have added to my enjoyment. Thank you cuisinart! Btw, I cook on a GE glass-top stove (came with the apartment) and I bought the "Chef's Classic" 11 piece set. I highly recommend these and I think you'll consider the price to be an amazing value the first time you use them. ... show more

Performs exactly as advertised. Great value, quality, and durability. I don’t know of anything that sticks to these pans. And they seem to last forever. I got my wife a set years ago and she loves them. This set was for our daughter’s birthday. She loves them too.

These are sturdy good non stick cookware. I gave only 3 stars as they are not induction compatible as advertised. The "induction compatible" claim should be taken off immediately.

Overall, I was happy with the pans. They've been VERY lightly used. I was extremely unhappy that the exterior color wiped off!! That is ridiculous.

    • Pots last forever, pan/skillets last about 3 years.

I've purchased this set twice over the past 10 years. I've always been happy with the pots, especially the steamer pot. I see a lot of reviews mentioning the non-stick durability on the skillets and sauté pans. Those tend to be the ones that go first in my experience. I cook turkey bacon and eggs quite often on them and they are non-stick, but wear over time. I try my best to follow the care instructions, but I'm certainly no stickler. I get about 3 years of use out of the skillets and sauté pan before its absolutely time to replace them which I think is fair. I certainly did not expect them to last forever. Cleaning can be an issue in many respects. The curved insides of the skillet pans appear to just accumulate crap on them and won't clean off quite properly, making it so that over time it looks more matte than smooth finish. The addition of the measuring on the inside of the pots is nice until you need to clean something out of it and it won't come out. Otherwise they are easy enough to clean. ... show more

The heat distribution is great. I can use less heat to cook with this set. They have wonderful heat distribution. I really like that I can transfer them from the stove top to the oven.
