  • Love this little grill!
We downsized. We have always had a big gas grill to feed an army. Now it's the two of us. We were skeptical at first to buy it because of the size. We thought you would only be able to put two burgers on it, wouldn't taste as good as the big grill. Wow we were wrong. It's compact however you can put six hamburgers on it. So you can invite friends/family for a grill out too.! We have done corn on the husk on it, kabobs for six, brats (golden and cooked throughout), steaks (grilled to perfection), grilled veggies on skewer (which were absolutely delicious). Everything has turned delicious. It doesn't have that taste of gas either. Don't let the size fool you. Easy to start. We are glad we bought it. Plus, we can pack it into the carrying case and take it on a picnic/ beach. ... show more

  • Love it.
Did my first tailgate with this grill at an Eagles game. I only used it once, but I intend on using this in parking lots and places that have small gatherings. I love the fact that it can be used standing up, or on a table. This is great for simple hot dogs, and hamburgers.

  • Ideal for trips and AirBnb
When we travel, we get an AirBnb home for our stay. There's some homes that don't have a grill so I figured I'd buy a portable gas grill. This saves me the headache of dealing with charcoal (although a way cheaper option). My wife and I were a little skeptical on how well this would cook and how much food we could grill at one time. Yes, it is small but we were able to cook 4 pounds of carne asada and 3 pounds of chicken within an hour and a half. It controls temperature just fine and when the lid is closed... it holds a steady temperature as well. It is light, easy to disassemble, and versatile. I highly suggest you invest in the grill with the VersaStand. You can use it both as a table top and with the stand. I knocked one star for the following reasons; 1. It won't stay lit in very windy areas. I learned this after we stayed in Palm Springs. 2. The drip tray is very small so it fills up quickly, overflows, and drips onto the floor. I used a cookie sheet to contain the grease and marinade. 3. The burner doesn't have a shield so all drippings stick to the top of the burner. It's a grill and it's going to get dirty but there's no easy way to clean this area. 4. I wish it was possible to put the grill back into the box it came in with the legs of the VersaStand in tact. The bottom pieces of the stand are plastic so putting them on and taking off might break the little tabs that hold the bottom pieces in place. Ever since we got this... I've thought of all the locations we could have used this portable grill. I'm glad we have it now and looking forward to its continued use. ... show more

  • Great portable BBQ!
I bought this grill for camping and outings at the beach. Easy to attach the gas cannister and easy to get started up. Heats evenly and is easy to clean. Two slight problems: when setting up, the legs are a bit wobbly and could easily be toppled over by little kids or dogs; when folding the legs back up after use you have to set the grill flat on ground and push the legs back into each other, which is a bit of a pain. ... show more

  • Works well, but it's a pain to use. Tall folks need some knee pads.
I bought this to take along in our RV for grilling while we're out camping. Our camper has a LP port with an outdoor kitchen area, so I just hook this little thing up and away we go. So far, cooking has been nice with good temperature control. It fits pretty nicely in our RV storage compartment. The grill is short. I'm an average-sized guy and it comes up to about my waist. If you're a tall person I would say you might want to get some blocks or a knee pad unless you like bending over. My biggest complaint is just the clunkiness. It's designed to be portable... but it's not designed that way very well. You can tell the engineers put some thought into it but it's almost like they never bothered to actually take it out and use it anywhere. The legs fold up and slide into the underside of the grill, and they're offset so they slide next to each other to make it compact. That's great, except they won't friggin stay put. They keep sliding out like wings sticking out the sides as I'm trying to carry it around. Carrying it is a chore because of this, and because it's not balanced very well it's like trying to lug a toddler around. There's also a drip tray that slides in underneath, but there's no retention of any kind, so it also falls out regularly. It's like driving an old car with parts falling off as it's going down the road. The setup is a bit clunky as well since there's really no way to hold the grill with one hand while you're trying to slide the legs out with the other. The legs just don't... stay... where you want them. Ever. If you want them in, they want to come out. If you want them out, they want to go in. Getting them in the right spot and then trying to lock them in place is a struggle. Once they're locked open and down on the ground they're pretty sturdy for the type of grill it is though. At this price point and in this size... this is really the best option. It does work, and if you're willing to deal with just a little frustration during setup and teardown it should serve you well. We're still using it on every outing we have, so it's worth it to me. ... show more

I wanted to like this grill. It was easy to set up and easy to use (I’ve used it twice) but after the second use the legs won’t go in. I’ve tired everything , changing positions, even unscrewing the legs. Nothing :( so so sad I got this grill so it would easy to store and now I cannot with the legs out ... show more
