I was introduced to this Little Giant in my workplace. Had my brother screw some hooks in it so that I could attach it to the back of my cart. It is very lightweight, sturdy and easy to maneuver. I am up and down stocking shelves several hours a day. I like it so much I bought one to have at home. Thinking about getting the next larger size up as well. I got the 4' model to replace both an old small stepstool and an almost 5', folding steel 3 step ladder, and I'm very glad I did. It is much lighter than the steel one and much wider, taller and more stable than the stepstool. It is very easy to set up and to fold up. The first step is 11" off the ground and the standing platform 22 1/2". The platform is 12 3/4" x 13", so nice and wide. Plus the top of the ladder can be used to hold small items and as a hand grip. I had purchased the 6ft one but decided it just was too tall for what I wanted it for. (I didn't send it back, I gave it away). This 4ft model is great and is perfect for my home and very sturdy when I stand on it. Extremely light in weight, so it is easy to cart around. The 6ft one only weights 12.5 pounds not sure on the weight of this 4ft model. I even talked a friend of mine in buying one of these. She opted for the 5ft model and says she is also very pleased with it. You can't go wrong in purchasing one made by Little Giant! ... show more

Got the 4 ft this time. I've had the 6 ft for years. Love the thing. If there were 100 stars, this would rate them. Weighs nothing. Top platform is so safe. Zero wobble. It snaps into place, but just a light lift to the handle closes it back up. The top tool tray is excellent support. Haven't fallen off the balcony yet... VERY sturdy. Makes me wish I were younger so I could get a few more decades' use out of it. ... show more

    • As a woman -- I love this ladder
I am an older, heavier woman who does not like to go up on ladders, but I love this Flip 'N Light. I bought the two-step (4-ft) to replace a normal step stool. It is bigger physically than normal step stools, but folds up to about the same width. The benefit is when you climb on it. It is sturdy and gives you that extra high top to hold onto and a dish at the top to put what you need in. It folds up and down very easily with the handle. And it is light and easy to carry (just as easy as the normal step stool). I liked the 4-ft so much, I bought the 5-ft and 6-ft one for when I needed more height. My husband is a handyman and he has appropriated the 5-ft for himself. He likes the fact that it is sturdy and light. Great ladder from someone who does not ever get excited about ladders!! ... show more

    • Great ladder but needs a larger worktray (folding)
I really like this ladder. I weigh 200lbs and have a prosthetic leg (BKA). I can go up and down the ladder without much difficulty. Only issue I have it that the built in tray is too small. For example today i cleaned a ceiling hanging light fixture. The bottle of windex had to sit on its side because the tray is too narrow and curving to accommodate it let alone a roll of paper towels. Getting stuff out of the top cabinet shelves in my kitchen would be added by a bigger shelf. However, it is very sturdy. The folds nicely and is much better than the similar ladder I have at the office (which the maintenance guy regularly forget how to fold). I only use this ladder on hard surfaces so I can't speak to use on dirt, etc. ... show more

FANTASTIC PRODUCT ! I am a big guy, 6'3" and about 280#; standard household step-ladders are too narrow and too flimsy. I am always afraid they will collapse under me. This Little Giant is wide enough for comfort and stability, has a nice, high safety rail and is solidly built. The top rail has a convenient small parts tray. the extra wide top step is very comfortable. As an added bonus, it closes very easily and is small and easy to store. I LOVE IT !!! ... show more
