The fact is, putting up a zipline on your own is daunting. We didn’t initially think we could do it ourselves, but then opened the box and realized it was much simpler than we had imagined. Here’s the nitty gritty; The box comes with everything you’ll need. The only things you’ll need are a socket wrench, a total of two people, and a ladder. The instructions are simple. Truly. If you get confused about something, there are videos you can watch. I only needed to watch a video for 10 seconds to confirm something, but it’s otherwise as simple as can be. I’m a mom of two. My husband and I set it up in about an hour or so without anything fancy, and without much frustration. Tip: When you’re attaching and tightening the zipline to the end point tree, attach the clamps one by one. Attach one as taut as you can (don’t worry if it’s pretty loose) that’ll hold the zipline in place. Then attach the second one, and while the second one holds it in place, loosen the first and tighten it using the second one as leverage. Then attach the third one, using the first two as leverage. This way, you continue tightening the zipline using the tension and leverage from the clamps one by one. You don’t need a truck (lol) to pull the line taut. You simply need to use your head! That’s one of the reason there are three clamps. Use them to your advantage. It’s sturdy. Very sturdy. My 235 lbs husband can easily slide across. No issues, no lag, no problems. If we can do it, you can too! The kids are overjoyed having a zipline in the backyard. It’s definitely the best investment we made this summer (after the pool) because with how 2020 has been, we need all the in-home fun we can get! ... show more

***Update: The supplier was very responsive and sent a new line to replace it. Very happy with this purchase and with the great customer service after the sale. The kids continue to love it and love having all of their friends over. **** This is a great zipline! We purposely got it for the 250lb weight limit and for the spring brake, both of which have been tested and have worked properly. The seat is sturdy. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I feel the seller should have included the tree protectors or offered them as an upgrade. We have had it installed for about a week now and it is digging into the tree. We definitely have to get some. Also, the plastic covering the metal "start" to the zipline has already worn off from use and some of the metal is frayed, see picture. I'm guessing some electrical tape may work, but I imagine it will be an ongoing problem. Otherwise, it’s great and lots of fun. But don't forget to also purchase tree protectors! ... show more

VERY dissapointed...this fell apart after a month of use. Had to replace the rope several times and eventually the cable completely shredded and cut a child's hand. Not worth the cost and not at all recommended.

Easy to install, just make sure you account for the line you need to wrap around the tree when you measure the distance between trees to make sure you get the right length.

This was fairly easy to install. My 8 and 10 year old absolutely love it (as do every friend that has visited since installation!) It's long enough that they get a decent ride before having to climb back up to launch again. You really do need two trees to mount it to, though. (We were originally hoping to have it start from our fort, but it just wasn't high enough.) We have the starting end about 13 feet high, and that seems to work great. By the time they zip to the end, they can stand on the ground. ... show more

You will need a come along ratchet to pull the cable tight enough to clamp. Turnbuckle is for final adjustments. Holding a 70 foot cable with broom, rake etc won’t let you get it tight enough to clamp. I put two long nails in each tree to hold the cable at the measured height while assembling the cable. Make all riders know that the brake springs you backwards. Kids need to be told to continue holding on once they hit the spring brake. Bike helmets recommended. A fall backwards from three or four up can rattle your brain. A tree root or a rock may be hiding below. ... show more

This was a Santa present to get my daughter to get her outdoors a little more. The zip line is high quality and everything is there to get you started. I have a come-along with a cable pulling attachment which made setting this up much easier. If you don't have something like that, you will need help pulling the cable tight. It took me several times to get the height adjusted so it ride the full length of the cable. The cable supports me without out any problems, and my daughter loves to ride the zip line. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this in May of 2020 to give our grandkids something new to do during the isolation of the pandemic. It was a great addition to the recreational area we have set up. It took two to set it up and get the line to the right tension. Once it was up, the kids couldn't get enough of it. This year I found a longer path to a different tree in the yard, and so I purchased a 110' line. They ask me every day to ride on the zip line. This was a great purchase for our family. ... show more
