Works like a champ on Subaru ball joints without hesitation. Save yourself the struggle. I purchased a knockoff of an Astro Pnuematic initially, complete trash, wasn’t even the correct ball joint stud thread. This option while more expensive is worth every penny. It’ll rip that sucker right out with minimal effort and swearing. New England is a rough place on Subaru suspension components. ... show more

Spent hours trying to get a seized ball joint out of my 2002 WRX with all the online tricks. Bought this tool and spent 10 min and it came right out. I was worried about the other cheaper tools since there were issues with using impact wrenches. But this is a high quality tool! 100% would recommend.

This is the only tool that was able to remove my 2014 Subaru Forester stubborn lower ball joint. it did not want to come out no matter how hard i hammered it, heated it, the cheaper version amazon sells did not work at all and damaged the threads of ball point.
