This sub is a solid middle-ground option for people who want real bass without going full competition build. First, the important part that people love to mess up: It’s rated at 650W RMS and 1300W max, and the RMS is what actually matters. This sub can take real power, but it’s not built for abuse beyond that. Performance-wise, the bass is clean and controlled. It hits low frequencies nicely and doesn’t sound sloppy like cheaper subs. It’s more about sounding good than just being loud for no reason. The output is solid for a 10”. Not window-breaking, but definitely enough to feel it, especially in a proper ported box. For a daily setup, it hits that sweet spot between loud and clean. Build quality is actually pretty respectable. Decent motor, stitched surround, and it can handle its rated power without falling apart. It feels like a step above entry-level stuff. Now the reality check: It’s not an SPL monster. If your goal is to flex and rattle every panel off your car, this ain’t that sub. Also, if you’re pairing it with something like a 1200W amp, you better set your gains right. Feeding it double its RMS like a savage is how people blow subs and then blame the brand. Cons: Not built for extreme power setups Won’t be the loudest in its class Needs proper tuning and enclosure to shine Pros: Clean, controlled bass Honest power handling (650W RMS) Good build quality for the price Great for daily SQL setups Overall: This is a balanced sub. Built box to ct sounds requirements, for a ported flat response, for a truck. I would say it's a good all around performer. If your music has punchy bass, you can feel it in your chest, that probably surprised me more than anything, did not expect strong punchy bass. If you want play straight boosted bass, it'll rattle everything and wrap you in a thick blanket of lows. It'll also replicate a clean sound if you want listen to your music at normal volumes with clarity in mind, another suprise. Of course you'll have to tune your radio to achieve that but it's possible. Overall no regrets ... show more

I paired it with the CT 1000.1 and built it a custom sealed fiberglass under seat box for a ram. Handles all the power and added the bass I much needed.

Once these get broken in, they hit nicely. I have mine in a prefab CT sounds box. They are almost comparable to my Polk Audio tens, only they don't reach the higher frequencies. These hit nicer than the CT Hydras I was running before.
