Great lower cost replacement for the GE XWFE. I used two of these in the past 12 months. I have a GE Double Door Fridge that requires the GE XWFE filter which I bought new two years ago this month. I wanted to wait for a year to replace two of these filters before giving a review. I just replaced the second Crystala Filter, and just like the first one I used, works great. Fit is exact, seals with no drips, and chip inside must work because you get no error codes. Several other After market filters that claim to be replacements for the XWFE do not work and will give you an error code. So far Crystala Filters work great. Plus is a more affordable price. The media could not be loaded. The Crystala replacement filter for GE XWFE/XWF installs easily and fits the fridge without any issues. The built‑in chip works correctly, so the refrigerator recognizes it just like the OEM version. Compatibility is solid, and the size matches the original filter. Quality and Taste Water taste is clean and fresh, with no odd aftertaste. The overall quality feels good for a third‑party filter, and performance is consistent once installed. Longevity Longevity seems comparable to the OEM filter so far, though long‑term life will depend on usage and water conditions. It performs well during normal daily use.
