Well, my Aventus came in 1 day late from Amazon and that had me really worried. When it did arrive, there was no damage at all, but how Amazon packaged it, I am surprised that it didn’t arrive damaged! I don’t want to pretend I know what I’m talking about colognes because I don’t. But I do know this. It’s nothing I’ve ever smelled before. And for me, the scent lasts pretty long. My son seems to be taking over the Aventus. And from now on, I’m either going directly to The House of Creed or on their website. Looking forward to my next purchase of Creed. After I purchased Creed Aventus, I contacted Creed through their website to find out how I could tell it’s authentic. She sent me a link to their only authorized Amazon retailer which sent me directly to here. Hope that gives some peace of mind. One more important information. A little pricey but it smells the best and actually stays a very long time! I always get compliments from people any time I wear it. I’ve purchased some imitations in the past that have smells almost the same but the scent fades quickly. Smells amazing! This smell goes great for both men and women as most of the Aventus line is. The scent lasted for at least 6 hours and I can tell that it will take me awhile to use this bottle. I tried buying from eBay and only got a fake one. It looked real and smelled very close but there were small differences and it didn’t last more than half an hour. The stuff I bought from this company is the real deal and it’s incredible.
