We have only purchased these name brand filters for our refrigerator. They seem to do a great job and you van definitely notice the difference in the taste of the water. The fridge cost a lot of money so we'd rather not chance it with a generic aftermarket filter. These last about 6 months, which is how long they recommend to change them out. It would be nice if they were a little cheaper, but the best overall price we could find was on Amazon. Overall, they work as advertised. ... show more

I ordered this Frigidaire FPPWFU01 PurePour PWF-1 Water Filter to replace the one in my Frigidaire refrigerator. I like that it is original equipment manufacturer made. It fit perfectly in my refrigerator. The installation instructions did not match the filter. It says to twist to lock, but my refrigerator is just a push in to hear the click and push in to release and take out the filter. Other than that, it fits perfectly with no issues. No leakage.
