Works great but dang they are expensive!

I continue to buy these for the sole reason that they have the best filtration available compared to all of the generics on eBay and Amazon. I did all the research so you don't have to. Bottom line, the generics do not meet the same filtration standards as the OEM filter, which really sucks because they are so darn expensive. Even buying them in bulk barely saves you any money. This is a total rip-off but what do you expect from GE? :/ oh, and make sure you watch YouTube videos on how to properly replace them. It is not intuitive and you can definitely break something if you start yanking on it. Frankly, one of the stupidest designs I've ever seen. Last but not least, I'm an insurance adjuster and I have seen those generic filters fail, flooding people's kitchens so take that into account as well. As much as it pains me to say this, just suck it up and pay the premium for the original GE for the peace of mind and knowing you're getting better filtration.

Easy to install and consistently works well

Installation is quick and easy, and this time we noticed a slight improvement in our water flow after replacing the old filter. I’ve been buying these filters for years and have always been happy with them. They work great, fit my refrigerator perfectly, and I like knowing I’m using the genuine GE replacement filter. Great filter great price

I’ve been using this filter on my favorite refrigerator ge. They last about 4-5 months depending on usage. Compared to the other filters they are well priced. My only issue is the instructions on use. I take a picture of my old filter installed in the refrigerator & then remove and put in new one. As you can twist & break it. Done that It works great removing all the impurities. The water is clear & tastes fresh.

fixed my ice maker problem

must replace filter! i dont use the water dispenser in the fridge so i didnt think it was necessary to replace the filter. however my ic maker wasn't making much ice. after an internet search, replacing the filter was at the top of the list. after replacing the filter the ice maker problem was resolved. make sure you look at a couple of youtube videos as there are two different ways to remove the filter depending upon your fridge

I purchased these filters for my GE Monogram refrigerator, and they’ve been excellent. Installation was quick and straightforward—just a twist to lock into place—and they fit perfectly without any leaks. The difference in water quality was immediate. The taste is fresh and clean, with no chlorine aftertaste, and the ice cubes are crystal clear instead of cloudy. I also appreciate that these filters help reduce odors in both the water and the ice. They last as advertised (around six months in my busy household), and the filter replacement light reset without any issues.
