Wonderful product! The dimensions are perfect for my mini fridge, which tends to freeze the last four eggsin a normal carton. The best part is that it's a drawer though. With normal cartons and the last egg storage I bought, I had to continuously pile and unpile food on top so I could get to my eggs. Not a great situation when you're trying to get breakfast before you run out the door to work. The drawer means that I don't have to fuss with and reconfigure my food whenever I feel like making an egg sandwich. For spatial comparison: my mini fridge can store about 9 half gallon cartons of milk on the shelf. The egg storage only takes up half that area, with enough space between it and the back wall to fit two upright 16-20oz jars of spaghetti sauce. Unfortunately, it only came with one, which was disappointing. The product itself is great, but the incomplete set takes away from the value. Would have given 5 stars.

    • Best Solution for Cabinet Depth Fridge
I never thought too much about the internal dimensions when we decided to get a cabinet depth fridge. What I've found is that most of the egg containers sold are too deep for the shelves, which are only 12" in the Bosch French Door refrigerator we purchased. This configuration is not only shallow enough, due to the style we can stack two high and still have access to the bottom tray without removing the top one. When I load mine, I cut off the carton end flap with the expiration date. I then place that in the front, so at a glace everyone knows which has the older eggs and which has the newer ones. We prefer older eggs for boiling as they tend to be easier to peel. For runny yolk eggs, we prefer the freshest eggs. With scrambled eggs- it's whichever drawer has the most eggs since nobody can tell the difference. ... show more

This is good for keeping eggs in refrigerator. Much better than keeping eggs in the carton from the store. This works great for me. Keeps the eggs protected from getting cracked.

The egg holder was exactly what I was looking for, a drawer type bin so I could also put things on top of it. So many egg bins are open on top or they have a lid. Unfortunately though when you go to pull the drawer out the whole thing slides. Some rubber feet on the bottom would really help with this. I don't want to have to hold it down with one hand while opening the drawer with the other. There's just not enough room in one side of a french door fridge for that. These work together well. They are also nice looking. The only downside and this has to do with me more than the product, because of where I purchase eggs. The jumbo eggs I get are momentarily stuck in the tray. This doesn't last long. The condensation on the tray dissipates/melts, and then the eggs stop sticking. ... show more
